I see Steve storming upstairs and we are all stunned to move for a second. Then, Mila bursts into tears and hides and Jared picks her up. She hides into his arms while he bounces her in his arms.
"I will go upstairs and check on Steve," I tell to no one in particular and then head upstairs. I hear things being thrown around and wince.
What am I to do here? What do I say? I feel bad for Steve but I don't know what to do. I don't even know if Mila is in her headspace or not.
I knock on the door and the moment Stevie opens it he starts off.
"I think Mila is not in her headspace," He snaps.
"Now, I am not too sure either," I tell him.
"No! You don't understand. I think she was never in her headspace. She agreed for the trip so that she could get a chance to run away from me!
