"Can we meet tomorrow? I d like to discuss something important with you," he said, sounding serious again.
Mitchell remembered the last time they spoke; he had mentioned something about his boss s interest in her and had asked her to meet to discuss things. But she was busy then and still was. Mitchell hoped that Michael wasn t the important thing Daniel wanted to discuss with her. If he was, that can wait.
Regretfully she said, "Daniel, tomorrow won t be possible. Hope it s something that can wait?"
"Yes, it can wait. Anytime then," he said.
"I m sorry."
"C mon," He laughed. "Mitch, I understand. And allow me to get back to my work."He said, with a ring of laughter still in his voice
"Goodnight," Mitchell said.
