I didn't have to ask anymore. I have the feeling why Matilda Laurent doesn't really like Alice Laurent. Yes, she may love her niece, but not her mother.
I told her my thanks after our interview. I didn't plan to interview her today, but I accidentally saw her.
I called Denver while I was driving.

I told Denver everything that we discussed. "So what's on your mind? Why do you think she hates Alice Laurent?"
I took a deep breath. "This is just a guess, Denver. I may be wrong or right. But I don't think she hates Alice because of money or her attitude. You know elite people. Almost all of them have attitudes. Even normal people do. We have bad sides, anyway. I don't think she hates her for that."
