Lina P.O.V I kept myself occupied but, by lunchtime I needed to know what happened. I called Dom to my office to iron the details. He walked in with a tense composure." So....it's better if I stay"? asking a question I knew. He stared at the ground. "I stayed because I know Alpha behavior and mate behavior. If you wouldn't have pushed, I would've gone. Thank you, "I finished. He gave me a dumbfounded look. 'I promised this pack the best of me and taking off on a mission that doesn't exactly benefit the pack...only me, would be neglectful.' I walked around my desk to hug Dom. He really did have the pack at heart. "Let's have dinner and a movie," I suggested. "There's not much else to do other than sitting and waiting. I've signed and double-checked everything. All there is left is waiting for the arrival, "I stated. He breathed a sigh and nodded. "I'd like that Alpha", he replied. Thank Goddess they left Rosa here to help cook. she made a simple shrimp Alfredo and was on her way. Dom and I, being the only ones in the house, served ourselves with a stiff drink. We settled on a mystery movie called Girl Gone. Very clever girl. By the end, we were both drunk, laughing, and making our own theories about it. We were settled on the couch with a disposable phone waiting on news. We both talked about everything, and he was really becoming my best friend. He told me about his goals for when he did find a mate. It made me realize that if he didn't find her soon and if Aaron didn't come home, I would ruin his plans. I leaned closer to him. He smelled nice, but there wasn't any alluring like with my alpha. "I wish this could be easy. If Aaron had stayed here, we would've helped him, "I whined. "Alpha, after two months of your coma, he went berserk. He couldn't handle not killing what did that to you, which is why he's still out there. I want to bring him home....but not for you. I want him home so his mental state can be fixed or at least managed, "he finished. "I'll do this bond if it's necessary, but know it will only be for the pact." I smiled. "I would expect nothing less." We settled on one last drink when the trac phone rang. I grabbed it desperately. "Hello." Some breathing was on the other end. "Is this Alpha of Silver Wings?". I was on edge now. I put it on speaker. "Alpha Lina speaking." A hearty laugh rang out. " I have now not only your mate but I now have your most prestigious team. They will be released upon your arrival, "the voice said, hanging up. I looked at Dom with murder in my eyes. Not only is my pact team there, but my mom, mate, and trusted friend. This notorious pack won't win with me. "I leave at dawn. No excuses and no begging, "I directed Dom. "If something happens, you will take my place so you stay here, and that's an Alpha order." He looked like a deer in headlights. "Yes Alpha", Dom replied. "Keep this phone. I have another burner with the number programmed in. Let me know when you land and tell me what I can do from here." I stared at him for a moment, thinking. " Keep Rosa busy. She doesn't need to know her mate has been taken. I'm leaving in four hours, have my transportation ready', I finished. 'Yes, Alpha, he said. I got to my room to start packing immediately. I needed to draw everything in me to do this. I'll sacrifice myself if it means them leaving safely. Maya P.O.V We arrived after Sheila, so she should've made sure we have a legitimate hiding spot for night fall. When we met up with her, she had that obvious blush on her face. "So we found a drainage ditch twenty feet from the entrance, and Han is fairly positive there's a rooftop entrance as well," she finished. Naturally, my mate being an Alpha, he took the lead. When nightfall came, Han and I scaled the top of the building while Lucas and Sheila got through the side entrance. Triss had a native whistle if we were made out during our plans. I found a door and a vent large enough to fit us both. So, we opted for the vent. We were more the secret team Whereas Lucas and Han were the obvious to get caught if it came to that team. We worked our way quietly through the ventilation system. Thank God it was Egypt, so it was cooler here. We made our way to a bolted part and surpassed through. When we finally were able to peak through a filtered vent, my heart dropped. My son was lying there chained and bruised. I can't help him until Lucas gets here. All I can do is softly call him and hope he hears me. Triss P.O.V I stayed in one of the nearby huts inspecting the area. They were gonna need my eyes. I managed to get ahold of an earpiece, so at least I could talk to Lucas and vice versa. It's been about thirty minutes when I heard struggling on his end. "Lucas, what's happening?" Damn, if he's not answering, then there's a problem. I blow the whistle to pull back the group that's hidden. I wait a few minutes when all these guards start pouring out of the place. Crap... We've been made. I slowly backed out of the back of my Hut, and as soon as I was out of ear shot, I ran. I need to get ahold of Alpha. I don't know what we're gonna do now.
