Alpha Aaron P.O.V
We spent the last two days taking shifts watching her. I need her to wake up. I can feel the bond getting stronger and oddly enough, she is too. I'm not sure why the Moon Goddess blessed her but I definitely can't wait to find out. I also wanna figure out why I couldn't feel my wolf for that short period. I'd never felt anything like that before. I'm hoping she will also know that answer. "Alpha". Dom came in. " There's a phone call on line two for you". " Okay", I replied wearily. I picked it up already dreading whoever was gonna be on the other line. "Hello". "Aaron, this Beau". Wonder if he has the info. " We've been informed Gage somehow made it to the Mexican border and crossed over. He has some alliance there evidently." I pondered what he said a moment. " I'll bet wherever he is, that's where the girls were sold. Beau let's form some plan maybe start contacting southern packs and seeing what we can", I finished. " I'm waiting on some calls back now",he replied. " Keep me in the loop", I said hanging up. "AARON", my mom yelled. " She's awake get here". That was all I needed and I sprung up and ran towards my room.
Lina P.O.V
I woke up feeling so tired. I opened my eyes and was greeted by Maya. " Hey Stranger. Nice to see you after two days". I smiled. " You mind telling me what the moon goddess said?". I looked at her. "How did you know?" She smirked. " Your heart stopped for fifteen minutes. Right before it started again some type of wind exited you and left silver specks in the air. That is a moon goddess visit". I stared at her flabbergasted. " Wow that's crazy". She stood up. " Let me get Aaron ya'll have some things to talk through. He's a good one Lina. Try and give him a chance", she said walking off.
Alpha Aaron P.O.V
I ran in and she was sitting up like nothing happened. I'm not positive if she's ready for the bond but I don't care. I need her. I closed the distance and hugged her. Surprisingly she hugged me back. "I'm okay", she said. I let go of her and sat on the bed. She grabbed my hand. " I want this to work. We need to be together. It's our destiny", she paused for a moment. " Gage tried everything to humiliate me. Mentally and sexually. He only got to me twice thankfully. After Maribels death he took advantage of your mom to try and get me to talk. I couldn't say anything because I honestly didn't know. Maribel was escaping with me when we were caught by Barron", she sighed. I was already boiling hearing what happened to my mom. " Who's Barron?" I asked. " He was a warrior that kept harassing me at every turn. He's the one that killed her. Then he forced himself on me but before he could Gage was right there and immediately killed him. He drug me out of the Forrest on the assumption that it was me". We sat for a moment. " That's when I first saw you", I slipped. " What do you mean?" She looked up at me. " I was leaving when I saw him dragging you. I heard him say you killed his Luna which was my informant by the way. So I got upset and didn't intervene, even though I kinda knew you were my mate. You were underage so your aura wasn't exactly clear to me but it was still different", I finished. " You saw that happen knowing I was your mate and you didn't do anything? You could've saved me from so much torment". I looked down. " I know and I'm sorry. I read the situation wrong". She moved herself away from me. " Right before the ceremony Gage made me do things to him so he could save my precious virginity for after. Please get out. I need to process things", she spoke. " Lina, I am very sorry. I didn't know and I wanna make it up to you. I'm never leaving you again. I've accepted this bond and I want you with me. If things didn't play out like it did, we wouldn't have even saved my mom", I finished. " GET OUT", she yelled. "NO", I yelled back.
Lina P.O.V
I can't believe this. He contributed to my suffering. Now he won't even let me process. I stood up and went towards the door. Before I touched the knob he was in front of me with his hands on my shoulders. " I won't let you go. Let me take care of you". He pulled me in for a hug. I pushed him and started slapping his chest. " NO. STOP IT. LEAVE ME, I was hollering. He just kept pulling me to him. I finally irritated him enough with the slapping. he grabbed my jaw and forced my face to look at him. " You will never do any of this alone again". With that he kissed me. He wouldn't let me pull away but after a moment I stopped trying. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he picked me up. He laid me on the bed and climbed on top of me. Is this where I make love for the first time? I thought to myself.
