Luna P.O.V

The fact that Aaron would just give up broke my heart. I can't believe he would do this. I closed the door to my room and sat in my bed. I kept looking at the little black box. I was starting to get nervous opening it. Finally I mustered the courage and removed the bow. Inside was a necklace. I pulled it out and looked at the charm on it. It was a swirl with green and red. Our colors I thought. I turned and laid on the bed letting myself cry it out. I missed him so much. Why doesn't he realize being apart is more dangerous?

He's going through some crisis but we could do it together. So why in the world does he think this is better.

Aaron P.O.V

This guy is involved with some shady characters. Unfortunately he's fled to Egypt. He doesn't know I've been watching him for months so why he jetted I have no clue. I've been on this flight for hours and I'm getting stiff. I wonder what Lina is doing. I have to stop thinking about her. I failed her so bad. I hope one day she will understand. "Excuse me sir?" Some young human approached. "Sorry to bother you but I need help opening the lavatory door. Nobody will help me and you look pretty strong", she finished with a smile. I got up and yanked the door open. I guess it was just stuck. I turned to her and before I could react she pushed me to close the door behind her. "Sorry, I don't know what you're trying to do but I'm taken". She giggled. " No ring". Then she pressed her lips to me. Next thing I know she was trying to undo my belt. I pulled her hands off. "I said no....looking so desperate doesn't look good on a young woman", I said. She moved suddenly and stepped out muttering an asshole on the way. I made it back to my seat and flagged down some help. "A shot of Vodka please". I hope the rest of this flight isn't like that.

Sheila P.O.V

Han decided to stay a few days. He thinks he can get me to change my mind about leaving. I won't leave my daughter. I just got her back. Speak of the devils and he'll show, I thought. "I was looking for you", Han said. "I'm not hard to find." He sighed. "Look, I know you're not too keen on us being mates but can you give me a chance?" I thought for a moment. "Bring my daughter's mate back and I will". His face suddenly got sad. "No need mom", I turned to look at Lina. "I still feel the bond and he seems to enjoy being single". My heart sank after those words. "Maybe it was a mistake Lina", I tried reasoning. She shook her head walking off. "I wanna be alone", she finished. My poor girl. Why can't she ever get a break? I turned to Han. "Dinner at seven thirty. Pick me up at my cottage", I instructed walking off. He was grinning from ear to ear.

Maya P.O.V

I was in the middle of paper work when Lina stormed in. "He's with someone else. I feel it", she all but hollered. "Oh honey." I got up and hugged her but she stopped me. "I'm not willing to break the bond but I'm also not willing to give up my rightful Luna position. I want to be Luna and I want to run my pack. I might not have been born here but this is home. Even though Aaron is out neglecting his rightful duties doesn't mean I should. I will take the work load of both Alpha and Luna. Can we make it happen?" She was stunned. "Of course we can if that's how you truly feel. Let me mindlink Lucas for an emergency meeting."
