We made our way over to Cold Mountain Pack to attend the ceremony. This time our plan will be successful. The fact that he even invited my pack again surprised me. This time I will get those girls and investigate my missing mom. We drove through the territory and I started feeling funny. My wolf was getting restless. Maybe that girl is indeed my mate. However I won't make a murderer my Luna. I absolutely refuse. I'll have to break the bond one way or another while it's still weak. Then again, what if she didn't kill my informant? "I shouldn't create scenarios", I scolded myself. "Dom what's the situation with our tools?" We managed to get ahold of some high tech stuff in the last two years to better prepare for this. " I brought the infrared camera as long as we find a vantage point we can see anybody. We think the best entrance is in the basement. So while you're giving introductions and talking alpha stuff Triss will sneak in and do what he does best", Dom smirked. Thank God Triss has this type of experience. "He's basically a generic spy". I looked at Dom. " Don't let him hear you say that", we both laughed.
Alpha Gage P.O.V
Finally I can get on track with everything I need to do. I won't lie my head hasn't been in the game since my Luna died. I will make that girl pay for everything her father did. Now she's giving me added incentive. Killing my Luna to escape with a mere warrior really pissed me off. It almost feels like she died for nothing. I'm under a tremendous amount of stress. Not even mentioning my beta thought it a good idea to invite Alpha Aaron to my ceremony. He has a point it wouldn't look good inviting the neighboring packs and not him. Technically it's disrespectful but having him here is like playing with fire. He handles the investigations within the packs of a three hundred mile radius. We were making a killing kidnapping and selling these girls to Mexican packs. Not sure why they wanted them but I got paid and that's what mattered. Their stupid Luna had to grow suspicious and start doing her own investigating. The fact that pack hasn't come for her yet or figured out she remains close is reckless on their end. She's been with me for years now and they still haven't a clue. Maybe they're not as good as everybody says. Then again I did have her masked for long enough they probably stopped questioning this area. I put on my white suit. I put my eye patch on and walked out. I took a deep breath as I watched my guests pull up.
Lina P.O.V
I hope he invited my Lunas son. She had a feeling he would be alpha by now. She knew her mate was withering away. She wanted to get out and make it back to him before he officially lost it. She told me his name is Aaron. If I see him I need to find a way to get her message to him. The maids brought me up to get ready for the ceremony. I'll never call it my ceremony, it's strictly for that monster. If nothing else I can get my Luna free I'll be happier. I know she's not my exact Luna but her calming demeanor and reassurance was enough for me to call her as such. She took me in without question. She was almost like a second mom for me. The least I can do is get her out. I was put in a red dress that puffed outwards at the bottom. Almost like a wedding dress. I guess he doesn't want people seeing my poor shape. I was skin and bones at this point. They fed us enough to keep us alive. The maids started my hair. They straightened and added a butterfly clip to help keep it out of my face. They put eye liner and mascara on me. Then put matching lipstick on to accommodate my dress. I looked good but I felt it was a bold look. They put me in some black heels. Hopefully I remember how to walk. I headed out and towards the front of the pack house. It was beautifully decorated. They had some gold lights around the white gazebo they had put in. The yard was illuminated with white bulbs lining the trees and the open garden. They had a bar stand put in nearby. It was very pretty but this sight alone couldn't lift my spirits for what was to come. "LINA,"Alpha Gage called. I stepped to him so he could introduce me to his fellow Alphas. "Gentleman, this lovely creature is my soon to be luna", he introduced. "Nice to meet you",one of them said. "Lina this is Beau and Lou. They are the Alphas of Round Rock and Pine Green pack. They're our neighbors", he stated. "It's nice to meet you both. I'm glad ya'll could make it", I forced out. I was very nervous. Suddenly another person walked up hastily then stopped in front of me. "Alpha Aaron", Gage greeted shaking his hand. " This is Lina, My soon to be luna". He was staring at me feverishly. Oh my. He's my mate and my Lunas son. His aura says it all. Only mates have different colored auras than everyone else. All guys for me have a bluish tint. Of course you can't really see them unless you focus on that person. A werewolf thing I suppose. His was a foresty green color. " It's nice to meet you", he squeezed out. You could tell he was having trouble. Then once again, he suddenly turned around and walked off. He doesn't want me.
