I made it back to my cottage and started some coffee. It's gonna be a long day. I need to make sure everything is perfect for Lina. I wasn't there for her all these years but I can be now. I had looked up all the latest designs for party decor but I made it more elegant. This was a big deal for her and our pack. All of Silver Wings will be rejoicing. It's been a few hours and I was still working on everything when a knock came at the door. I opened it but there wasn't anyone there. I looked down and saw a white envelope on the ground. I opened it and my jaw dropped. It was a picture of Lina, Aaron and I at the training grounds. On the back was a note. Found you.
I took off for Aaron and Lina's house. I barely made it when someone grabbed me from behind. They put a cloth in front of my face and I immediately shifted. I was still woozy from whatever that was. I was stumbling around when I felt hands on me. "You'll be out soon. Not even a werewolf can stay conscious for long". Soon as she said that I collapsed on the ground.
Lina P.O.V
After training we went out for lunch. We got to this little diner and ate burgers and drank coffee. We sat there for a while just talking about all the positives of our life. Aaron's phone began to ring. "Hello". After a couple seconds his face got red and his eyes darkened. He hung up immediately and stood. "We need to go. My pack has been infiltrated". We ran out and hopped in his truck. When we arrived Dom was already waiting for us. "Alpha, it's Sheila", he said. "What happened?" He pointed towards her cottage. "She was taken. Were pretty sure it was Gage". I ran to her cottage. I immediately started shedding tears. Aaron and Dom followed me. "How do we know?" Aaron said. "We found this". He held up a photo of us. I snatched it from him and read the back. "He wanted her first. He always wanted her. That's why she left", I stated. "Let me get on the phone with Triss. There's no way they didnt see anyone moving out", Aaron voiced. "Get our trackers here and see what they can pick up". "Yes Alpha", Dom said. He immediately took off Leaving Aaron and I standing there. We made it back to the main house and one of the maids already had some fresh coffee for us. We sat down at the table.
Triss P.O.V
I've been in Mexico for a couple days now and nothing suspicious has been happening. The other two that got sent with me felt the same. We started feeling like our time was wasted here. Between the three of us we had the Mexican pack surrounded. No one could leave or come in without one of us seeing. This pack had about two hundred members. Not many for them to be getting involved with Gage. Atleast we know for a fact he's here. We've seen him a couple times. I stood watch as always when I saw a girl with beautiful brown skin walk by. Her aura wasn't the universal yellow color. Hers was bright red to my eyes. Oh Goddess.....she's my mate. I had to control my breathing. I couldn't ruin this mission but I know for a fact I will not leave without her. I was tempted to tell Alpha but I feel he wouldn't deem me fit to continue my duties. For now I'll keep this to myself. I've been watching her for days and everyday she gets closer and closer to my hide out. I've even switched spots with one of the other trackers and she still makes her way back to me. It's not that I don't want a mate but I can't jeopardize this. It was about two a.m and I really needed to relieve myself. I hopped down and made it a couple trees behind the border. Beau had a witch in his pack so we aren't picked up without actually being seen. I was finishing up when a sweet voice hit my ears. "By the color of your skin you don't belong here". I turned and there she was. "You speak english?" She scoffed. "Were just on the other side of the border. I speak both." I walked up to her. She started cowering back. "I'll scream if you touch me". I squinted at her. "Why would I hurt you? You are my mate and as soon as I'm done here you will go back with me". She stepped closer and touched my arm hesitantly. "I'm going to trust that you will help me and never hurt me. I need to leave this place desperately. So when can I leave this horrible place?" I smirked. "As soon as I get to Gage. Why is this place horrible?" She looked away from me. I stepped up to her and lifted her chin to look up at me. "Tell me".
