What Happened

Alpha Aaron P.O.V

It took some doing but we finally got ahold of our insider at Cold Mountain pack. Now that she has assured me everything will go to plan I accept the invite with open arms. My beta steps in to inform me of this glorious plan once more.

"How are the preparations Dom", I ask barely containing my excitement. " We have everything in motion. Triss will round up patrols and while the party's going we will head around the side of the mountain and find the entrance and with any luck also find the girls". He takes his leave while I sit with my jack and coke pondering the plan. I'm relieved we got a breakthrough after years of searching. Maybe my mom's disappearance won't be in vain. I get upset thinking how she wandered out to a call in the woods for a lost girl and hasn't been back. My dad was almost home if she would've waited or took patrols. whatever was going on in her head she must've had a good reason.

Finally the day of the ball is here. I'm getting ready with a blue navy suit and gold tie. my short black curls I decide to gel back. Looking at my pale blue eyes I realize how tired they are. I've been at this too long for being twenty two. our late Luna disappeared two years ago funnily the same time our last informant met his death. I know Gage has something to do with it but proof is the problem. Now that I got my dad under control I can focus on all the kidnappings that have been taking place. He lost it when his mate disappeared. I had to step in early as Alpha and now here I am continuing my parents plans a step at a time.

Taking the one hour drive to Cold Mountain Pack we exit the vehicle and look around. They have out done themselves. Walking up to our enemy his Luna gives me a sly smile. I shake his hand and give him a grin. "Just a couple of pack members Aaron? Where's the rest of the crew" he says, making light conversation. " They're at home, only my presence will be graced tonight". I give him a tight lipped smile. Unbeknownst to him Dom and Triss are already heading around the mountain in search of those missing girls. I turn towards the other two Alphas to exchange greetings.

Lina P.O.V

I stayed in my room watching the pleasantries between Alphas from my room window. The one in a blue suit sure is handsome I thought to myself. After waiting about an hour my door unlocks. Relieved, I see Luna Maribel. "Hurry we must leave now while the Alpha is distracted", she whisper yelled. We ran out the back to wait for the path to clear. I peaked around the side and saw that a couple warriors from the packs had found their mates. How sweet I thought. Taking off into the woods I felt so free. " Duncan and Chase showed up to the party, nows our chance", Luna exclaimed. We finally slowed down to catch our breaths. " We haven't gone far we need to keep moving and then I'll explain everything. We're not out of the territory yet", she said. Just as we were about to keep moving a twig snapped behind us. We both turn to find Barron staring at us like we've grown two heads. "Alpha won't be happy to hear about his treacherous Luna", he sighed. We were both frozen in place. He stalked towards Luna Maribel and in one quick motion, yanked her head violently to the side snapping her neck. " All you had to do was be mine, now I have to frame you for murder too", he seethed. Stepping up to me he reached out but I stepped back. I turned to run but he grabbed my shirt violently and slammed me on the ground. Grabbing my pant leg he ripped my jeans clean off. "Not before I have you though. I'm gonna be your first and last it seems". he held my hands above my head and undid his jeans. He yanked my panties to the side placing himself at my entrance. I started screaming as he slowly tried entering me. He only made it an inch before he was ripped off. Pulling my knees up I saw the Alpha beating Barron with his hands. I tried covering myself the best I could with my shirt. Watching the horrible scene unfold I couldn't do anything but stare. After he was done two patrols showed up and took Luna's body with them. Alpha stalked towards me grabbing a fistful of hair. " My Luna is now dead because you couldn't keep your legs closed", he yelled. That's not what happened. "Alpha please listen that's not what happened", I tried to reason but he wasn't hearing it. He drug me all the way back to the pack house which was already strangely quiet. Where was everyone? Why did the party end so soon? He Took me into the basement of the pack house and opened up a door that was completely camouflaged. " You will be here until your eighteenth birthday. Until then, ROT", he hollered with so much anger. All I could do was curl in a ball and cry. "What did I do", yelling at no one in particular.
