Surprise

Alpha Aaron P.O.V

"Alpha?" Dom said. "You do realize Lina just had her eighteenth birthday?" I stared at him for a moment. "No I had no idea", I responded. "Maybe we should do a party for her. Ya know, make her welcome". I stood abruptly. " Get to the store, buy everything needed. Take two warriors with. You have an hour", I shouted. I quickly mind linked my mom to keep Lina there for two hours. I ran down and started ordering immediate catering to be delivered. On such short notice all they had were the finger sandwiches as an appetizer and they said they could give us a decent steak and potato dinner. Along with some beverages. That will be fine. Atleast were doing something, I thought. My dad came in shortly after to help. Thankfully Dom made it back in forty five minutes." Let's get everything hung up for her. I want her time here to be special. She deserves nothing less", I yelled.

Lina P.O.V

After a couple hours we all made it back to the main house. We walked in and a huge surprise rang out. " What's all this?" Aaron stepped forward and wrapped me in a hug. " Well you just had a birthday and we wanted to do something nice for you. You deserve everything in the world plus some", he finished. I teared up. " Thank ya'll so much. There were pink balloons and white streamers everywhere. There were caterers running about. " Now because it was short notice the gifts will be here in a couple days. Until then, enjoy the company and we will do whatever you want", Aaron stated. "His parents and my mom were there along with his beta, gamma and a couple warriors. ",This is perfect". My mom nudged me. " Maybe we can see that beautiful wolf you've been talking about", she smiled. " I don't want to push her, whenever she's ready is best", Aaron finished. " Actually, I wanna see her. I want to do it now. I can feel her and were both ready", I answered. Aaron looked at me worried. We talked about waiting but I know I'm ready. "I'm ready", I said walking outside. Everyone followed me outside as I made my way to the back of the main house. "So, how do I start this?" Aaron stepped forward. " You just feel it. Focus on becoming your wolf and breathe. She will help you along the way", he stated. I kicked off my shoes so I could feel the earth. After a couple deep breaths I could feel it. I was changing. I could feel my fingers growing claws and fur. I felt my nose grow into a snout and my ears became pointy and furry. In fact I felt a lot. I started grunting in pain. " It hurts the first time Lina. Afterwards it'll be less painful", I heard Aaron say. The pain felt unbearable. It felt like my body was being yanked apart and then violently squished into different spots. After some screaming and writhing on the floor it was done. I looked down and saw four paws. Four silver paws. Everyone looked at me in awe. "You're gorgeous", Aaron said. he walked closer and ran his hand down my fur. I walked with him to the pond nearby and looked at myself. I still had green eyes but I was completely silver. Like, shiny silver. I nudged Aaron's knee so he would change too. Were not marked yet so we can't mind link. He got the memo and shifted as well. He was all black with silver around his eye. Either we were meant to be or that legacy about his past Alpha was definitely true. No wings though, I thought. I took off running in the forest and he chased me. I don't have Alpha blood but I've got the next best thing. Beta blood. He caught up and tackled me down. Our wolves played for a while. It was about dark by the time we returned to our human selves. He looked at me while I covered up. I was still shy after all. "Let me get us some clothes. I don't want anyone seeing what's mine", he stated. I scoffed and waited for him behind a nearby tree. He came back handing me some shorts and a t shirt. We joined the party and his parents were already pretty tipsy. "Sorry I'm not dressed proper", I said to my mom. " Oh honey, you just met your wolf and spent time with your mates wolf. That's beautiful. You take all the time in the world and don't worry about dressing for the occasion after that", she said.

Alpha Aaron P.O.V

Her wolf is magnificent. I know she told me it was silver but it almost glittered in the light. That's the most beautiful wolf I'd ever seen. She's so gorgeous inside and out. I couldn't be more happy that we both accepted this bond. We might still have a lot to learn about eachother but it's looking like I definitely have my Luna. I smiled at the thought. I took a flute of champagne and made my way to her. " Your wolf is so beautiful". She smiled at me. " Thanks, yours is very handsome and his silver eye makes it seem like we were made for eachother. I wanna let you know I'm very thankful for you and your family. Ya'll took me in knowing the drama and danger that could be brought and I'm just grateful". I brought her in for a kiss. " You're my mate. I'll rearrange the earth's axis for you", I smiled.
