"It's not that I don't like him, it's just that I never thought of us being together in the end, or if he even wants me. Many college students have shown interest in me, but I have no intention of being with any of them.

I was surprised when his friends recognized me. They acknowledged me, and I smiled at them and greeted them back, just so they wouldn't think I was snobbish.

I buried my face in his chest, feeling him move and hug me tightly. How I love this man, I don't want to be with anyone else.

I woke up feeling something tickling my cheek. I lifted my hand and took his hand that was tickling my cheek. He chuckled softly and quickly kissed me on the lips. This guy is really cheeky.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Dark's face smiling sweetly at me.

"Good afternoon, love," he greeted me affectionately.

I just nodded at him and sat on the hammock, stroking my face. He got off the hammock and put on his slippers, so I did the same before putting on my flat sandals. He reached out his hand to me, and I quickly took it and intertwined our fingers before we walked towards our nearby cottage, just a few steps away.

We saw everyone laughing and having a good time. They had just woken up too.

"Come on, let's have some snacks here," Xyrene greeted us. She helped me climb up the cottage since there were stairs, just three steps.

There were many food items prepared on the table, various snacks and drinks. I grabbed a slice of pizza and a milk tea before sitting down and starting to eat. I also took some French fries and ate them. The person next to me was also eating, and we fed each other. Our companions didn't care about us; they were busy doing their own thing. After we finished eating, we decided to watch the sunset because it was so beautiful.

We decided to take a walk along the beach. We held hands while I held my phone. Of course, we couldn't miss taking pictures. We took pictures together.

We just held hands while walking along the beach, and I smiled at him while he held my hand, slightly leading the way. I took a photo of that and smiled sweetly.

I raised an eyebrow at him, so he stopped walking.

"What?" I teasingly asked him.

"What happened?" he said, so I smiled sweetly at him and hugged him.

"Thank you so much for coming into my life," I said affectionately.

He returned the hug and kissed my forehead, stroking my hair.

"I should be the one thanking you because you accepted me," he said.

Tears welled up in my eyes because I feel so lucky to have him. How I wish we could be together until the end. Is that possible?

"Stop crying," he said and kissed me on the lips and forehead.

I nodded at him while wiping away my tears. We continued walking along the beach.

-FAST FORWARD-

When it got dark, we went back to our respective rooms. I took a shower and changed into a black tube top and joggers before coming out of the bathroom. The two of them were already dressed. We decided to go out.

"What kind of dress is that?" he furrowed his brows and asked me before making me wear his hoodie jacket.

He held my hand as we entered the elevator, and the couple here was just fooling around. It was Jaydon and Ellaine, Liam and Xyrene. The other two, Jayson and Samuel, were just looking at us with disgust, probably because they're single and womanizers.

We arrived outside and had dinner before starting a bonfire. There were many bonfires here. It was so much fun, just peaceful and filled with laughter.

We started a fire and sat in a circle. I held hands with the person next to me.

We laughed and teased each other. Until it got late, I felt someone hugging me from behind, but I didn't pay much attention to it. I recognized the scent immediately. I smiled and decided to take a walk.

I had some money with me, and he held my hand as we walked towards the nearby stalls. We bought seafood and street food and ate them.

Until we decided to go back to our cottage. Everyone was already drinking. I just ignored them, but Dark joined in. I agreed to join him, so I started drinking too.

I was just holding my phone, scrolling through social media, and uploading our pictures. But I didn't show his face. It's not that I'm ashamed of him, we just want to take things slowly and not let others know what we have.

They were drinking beer, and the person next to me just held onto my waist while his other hand held a can of beer. He joined in the conversation with his friends and laughed along.

I didn't care about the world as I looked at my phone, watching a video on YouTube.

Until it seemed like they were getting tipsy. The person next to me suggested that we should sleep because he was already drunk.

I helped him back to his room. I laid him down on his bed and wiped his face with water before leaving and going back to my room. The other two were already here, but their boyfriends were with them. I just ignored them and lay down on my bed. I was about to lie down when someone knocked on the door, so I went to open it. It was Dark, who was clearly drunk, so I furrowed my brows at him.

He entered the room, so I closed the door and locked it.

"Let's sleep, love," he said, holding my hand and lying down on the bed, hugging me tightly.

"Good night, I love you," he said, kissing me on the forehead before falling asleep.

I just smiled and hugged him tightly, kissing him on the lips before closing my eyes.

-THE NEXT DAY-

I woke up to the sunlight hitting my face. There was no one beside me; he must have gone back to his room. I freshened up and went to our bathroom to change into a black t-shirt, pants, and white shoes before heading out. We packed our things."
