"Can any of you explain how I underwent an extreme makeover and all of it while I was sleeping?" I walked into the living room and flopped onto the couch. Taking the bottle water from my step dad, Eric.
"No, we really can't. I'm thinking your crystal has been holding back some of your powers. Not having it and gaining your wolf has brought forth changes. That's only my guess, though." Aunt Kara stated.
"What in the heck is happening?"
"We have to go now. That's what's happening we have years of training to make up for, and the sooner we start, the better."
"Can I eat first? I'm starving." I said as my stomach growled. Mom handed me a duffle bag.
" You can eat as soon as we get to my home."
"Behave, please. You need to take this seriously. I packed a few of your things." My mom said,"Give me a hug." She added, pulling me into a tight hug.
"See you soon, princess." Eric said, giving me a kiss on the cheek.
"Take care, Stella, and mom is right. There is a lot you need to know, so be serious." She gave me a hug also. There was a bright light in the room. Aunt Kara grabbed my hand. Pulling me on.
"I love you guys, see you soon." I said. Before Aunt Kara took me with her through the light.
"So this is home." Aunt Kara said as we entered the other side. I stood shocked.
"You really just teleported us. In real life." I dropped my duffle bag onto the wooden floor.
"There are lots we can do, Stella. With lots of discipline, you will soon see."
"Wow." I said. finally taking steps from where I was standing. It seems that we were in a very nice cabin. I went to the window and only saw trees. Lots and lots of trees. Not even a front yard. Or a driveway.
"Where are we?" I asked, turning towards Aunt Kara.
"Home away from home. We are hundreds of miles away from civilization. There are only others from our coven around."
"Coven?"
"Others that gather. Like you and I."
"Others, Witches?"
"Yes." Aunt Kara handed me a salad and lots of berries. She handed me a drink. That I saw her shaking in a shaker cup.
"Protien shake." She smiled, answering my questioning look.
"Is this all we have? No meats."
"This is your diet for now. We have to cleanse your body. It will make things clearer. And you will have to exercise daily. You have to get fit."
"I'm not a get fit kind of girl."
"You are now my dear. Now you eat while I prepare a few things I haven't been Gere in a few days."
"Yes, ma'am." I said, taking a seat at her small round table.
I would have never guessed that my life would take this turn. I'm excited and yet scared. If people killed my real father and wanted me dead, what would happen now. Would people be after me. Will I be a walking target?
I don't know what the future holds. But I will dedicate myself to being a good student and turn out to be the best hybrid there is. I will survive. I spent too long inside my parents' house. I'm ready to see the world.
Storm
Alan and Millan came into my office. They returned with a report from surveillance on Stella house.
"Any changes?" I asked.
"No, Alpha. It's been a week and no signs of her or the aunt." said Millian.
"The father, mother, and Ashely come and go but no one else." Alan informed.
Where's our mate, Maddox whines.
"Thanks, you guys could stand down now."
"Yes, Alpha," Millan and Alan said. I know they're ready to return to their families.
I relieved them of their duty. Once they were gone, I mindlinked Robbie to see if he had contact with Ashely.
I haven't heard from Ashley in a week Alpha. Robbie answered with sadness in his tone.
Okay Robbie
I don't know what's going on, but I will leave it alone for now. I didn't have any reason to bother this family. So me calling or looking into the matter is pointless.
Except that's she's our mate Maddox added to my thoughts. I ignored him.
Let's go for a run.
Meet you out. Matthew replied to my mindlink. I needed this run. It always help with my frustration. I wanted to know that Stella was okay even though I was trying to ignore Maddox words. But I had to focus on my pack and it's members. If her family need me I'm sure Ashley would lead them my way. And I'm sure she would be back to Robbie soon. Just a matter of time.
