Storm
We arrived at the pack house. I was so busy with pack business that I took my attention off of Stella. Robbie mindlinked me this morning for Ashley saying they didn't know where Stella went. I was closer, so I went out to check.
Tyler mind linked me, saying he left with Jennie to her home. She stayed a mile in town. Ashley was wrapped up in Robbie. Robbie is my Gamma. He deserved having a little time of, so Ididn'tt mind him going off to be with Ashley last night. But I was hesitant to allow Ashley's guest onto my land. I knew nothing about Ashley's family, but I did know Ashley is trustworthy, and she told us Stella wasn't a threat. Robbie explained that she was her sister and Ashely had no other choice but to bring her. But I warned everyone beforehand to be cautious of a new human being around.
Ashely knows what we are, but she was sworn to secrecy. I stood back and kept an eye on Stella. She was fascinating to me. When they arrived, her fruity smell hit me instantly. I was drawn to her scent.
We arrived at the pack house. Breakfast is still being prepared. It is almost five thirty a.m., and we have duties to proceed with.
Last night's bonfire was much needed since everyone had been working so hard, and my members needed a night off.
"This is beautiful," Stella said, looking around. "Morning, Alpha." One of the teens greeted me walking into the kitchen. I slightly tilted my head. "Would you like to freshen up? I'll have Jesse show you upstairs." "Please and thank you." Jesse is an Omega and one of my best housekeepers. She appears and shows Stella upstairs. I enter the dining area. "We have a human guest. Can you all please stay in your human form while she is around." "Yes, Alpha, " everyone said in unison. "Carry on." I returned to my office.
Stella
"Omg, this has to be the biggest bathroom I've ever seen." I walked into the bathroom amazed. "Here's some change of clothes and spare toothbrush. Tylenol is in the cabinet for you." "Thank you." Jesse nodded and left me to shower.
I need this. There's dirt all over me, and I should be embarrassed, but that's not me. I'm a take me as I am or don't have me at all kind of girl. I got undressed and stepped in. The water is steaming hot and felt awesome. I soaped up,washing my hair as well. I have to look my best for my new man crush.
The soap was unscented, but I didn't mind. I'm not a fan of too many scents like perfumes and body washes. At home, I use unscented soap. I hate overbearing smells. Mom said my dad had the same problem with scents. My dad died when I was a toddler. Mom later married my step dad and then came Ashely.
My dad and mom were not together as a couple. She said that they were old friends who had a one-time hook up. They had a falling out, and he left to go back to his hometown in the mountains. Mom said he did visit me often. I could only remember certain things because i was so young.
I remember asking for my dad a lot when mom finally told me it was an accident and he didn't make it. I was never the same even as a toddler. I loved my dad, and I knew he loved me also.
I turned the water off and hopped out of the shower. I took one of the pain relievers. My headache was still lingering around. I'm just glad I'm not throwing up. I looked in the mirror again. I gasped at my tangled hair. "No way is Thor going to see this tangled mess. I looked around and found a wide toothed comb. I rinsed it off and combed through my hair, then put it into a high bun. A brush would have been better, but I had to work with what I had.
"Better." I looked in the mirror and smiled. I got dressed in pink sweats and a white T-shirt. At least the clothes fit. The t-shirt was a little tight around my chest area, making the shirt rise, showing my chunky stomach, but that came with having large boobs. I looked into the mirror, checking myself out one last time, and then I noticed my necklace was gone. It was there a minute ago.
I quickly fell to the floor and looked for it. My aunt Kara gave me a necklace when I was three. I had to keep it on constantly. My mom would even punish me whenever I lost it or took it off. Aunt Kara apparently paid lots of money for it, and mom didn't want me to under appreciate her gift. She would always tell me. My aunt gave me this one when I turned twelve, and I've had it since.
Found it. "Thank you, Lord. I never wanted to lose the crystal necklace. Mom would kill me." I talked to myself. The door bust opened, and I saw Storm aka The thunder god there. His eyes glowing blue. They were beautiful.
"Mate," he growled out.
"Mate," I heard a voice in my head saying the same thing at the same time.
I pulled the necklace around my neck, and Thor took a step back, shaking his head. I was confused as to what happened. I've heard a voice in my own head before, when I turned twelve. I must be losing it again. I remember telling my mom about it once when I was little. That's when I was gifted a different necklace.
His eyes were still glowing blue.I stood. Mesmerized at them before coming to my senses.
"I'm dressed. Sorry it took so long." Alpha Storm didn't answer. He just turned and walked away. I grabbed my things and decided to trash the clothes I wore there. I had a lot more sweat pants and t-shirts at home. That is my daily attire.
"Alpha is everything OK, I sensed another wolf, but it left quickly." Matthew greeted me as I reached the top of the stairs.
"It was nothing."
"Alpha, Ashley's mom is calling her nonstop. She says her mom wants to talk to Stella now."Robbie mindlinked me.
"Tell her she's fine, she's leaving now."
"Yes Alpha" Robbie replied.
"Matt sees that Stella gets home immediately." I want you to scope out her family. Let me know if you sense anything unusual about them.
"Is everything ok Alpha?" Matthew asked.
"Yes, so far it is." I felt Stella's presence behind me.
"All finished." She said.
I walked down the stairs ahead them. Maddox seemed confused and I had to let him calm down.
"Matthew will be driving you home now. Ashley says your mom has called for you." I informed Stella.
"Oh I knew it. My mom felt it in her spirit." Stella huffed out.
"What did she feel and why?" Matthew asked. Stella walked past him and me. "Stella!" I said, not meaning to use my Alpha voice . Causing Matt to show submission and Stella to look down. Making me even more curious because if she was human, it would not have worked on her. But she snapped out of it quickly.
"What was that?" She asks me. I knew she was referring to my aura and the loss of control she felt from it.
"Stella, answer the question. What did your mom feel?"
She shook her head as if she was clearing her mind.
"My necklace fell off. She told me never to remove it. I've been wearing one since I was three. I used to get punished for removing it." Stella revealed, causing a low growl from me. Stella didnt seemed fazed by my growl.
"It fell off when I was ten, and she knew immediately. Her and my aunt Kara gave me this one, and I haven't taken it off since. I'm surprised she's not pulling in your yard now. I think her and my aunt are psychics." Stella rambled.
WHAT THE f**k, Is she a witch? Matthew mindlinked me.
"I don't know. Go and see what you can dig up about her and her family. I need answers. Meet me in my office when you return."
"Thor you guys are starting to freak me out. I'll be downstairs waiting. Thank you for everything." Stella walked away. Matthew chuckled.
"She's funny." He said following her.
Mate, my wolf made an appearance. He was all over the place but I pushed him to the back until I had answers about Stella. I felt the pull for a second but it left fast. Now I feel nothing. She couldn't be my mate.
