Storm
"Now that all of this is over, I have to get going." Von turned to Storm.
"Yes, good to see you again, Von," Storm answered.
"Stella, stay here, I'll be back in a second." She nodded her head for okay. We left out. Von stopped and turned to me.
"Where did you find Stella?" Von asked. "She was visiting with her sister. Her mom asked me to help her through her first transition to her wolf form." I gave him a brief answer.
"You don't know who you have among you. There are legends of a royal hybrid that will be among us. Powerful and will unite beings of different species. And one who can cause much destruction if guided down the wrong path." Von eyes glowed.
"And you believe this person is Stella?" I raised a brow.
"Yes, it has to be. When have you ever seen a witch, vampire, or wolf hybrid with that much power. That glow she carries it draws you in. She wasn't even trying to use it and burned a ring into your front porch. I'm pretty sure that's just a touch of what that amazing women could do." Von smiled, I felt some jealousy brewing from Maddox.
"What do I do with her? No way did I sign up for this, and my wolf wants to mate with her. Sometimes, I want to mate with her?"
"Lucky wolf," Von smiled.
"No, I don't want a hybrid as my mate. Well, I didn't, but she is growing on me." I confessed. Von gave him a disappointed look.
"You should rethink that my friend, Stella, is a jewel. I have known her for a short time and already like her. I felt a connection to her. I would protect her with my all if I were you. You should guide her on the right path. There are many who would use her for their own hidden agendas. She was sent to you for a reason. And I have a feeling she would protect the ones she cares for. But if you feel that way she should go with me. I would treasure my new hybrid friend." Von smiled.
I let out a protective growl. There is no way Stella would be leaving with Von.
"Calm down, you confused flea bag. I'm only giving you an option out." Von laughed. I didn't find it funny.
"No, I would see this through and teach her what I can. We can see how things go tomorrow when she transforms."
"Well, old friend, I have to go. Keep Stella safe, and I'm around if you need me." Von said before dashing off in a flash.
Being a vampire gave him super speed. Faster than wolf speed. Von and Issac left. The patrol told me once they crossed our border. Their car was parked right outside of our territory.
I walked into my office and I sat at my desk. Stella sat on the couch.
"Sorry about your porch, Storm." Stella whispered out.
"It's fine, Stella."
We both sat quietly in our own thoughts. My wolf was quiet for the first time around Stella. Her scent was not as strong. It is barely a hint not as strong as before, and I couldn't understand why.
What do I do with you, beautiful little wolf?
Stella is a dream. Her lively personality, she is quick and smart. As well as her physique. Stella large breast, her curvy hips, and nice plump ass. She lost so much weight from when she first arrived here, the night of the bonfire gathering. But even then, she was still beautiful. I was attracted to her from that night til now.
Damn I got myself horny like a teenager. Stella huffed. I looked her way. She was looking out the window at other wolves outside.
"What are your thoughts, Stella?"
She looked my way with sad eyes. My heart plummeted.
I got up and walked around to the couch. I sat beside her, grabbing her small, soft hands in mine. She looked at me and then back out the window. Her peach scent was barely there, but a small whiff hit my nose, and my wolf purred.
"I never asked for any of this either. I was lonely but happy at my parents' house."
"Lonely is not happy Stella."
"For me, it was. I don't have to be criticized by others." Stella bright aura was dimmed, and I didn't like it. "I worked online designing web pages and did a little accounting for people. I read my romance novels in hopes that maybe one day it would be me finding that one special person who understood me and would love me unconditionally." Stella removed her hand from mine.
"I know I'm a lot of work. Not your ideal mate. I know you don't want me and I'm fine with that. I'm not a hundred percent at wanting a mate either." Stella looked at me with tears in those beautiful eyes. I reached for her hand again. But she moved it away.
"It's fine. Don't cuddle me. I don't need it." She stood and walked to the window.
"Stella, if we are mates, I'm going to accept it. I'm a little confused on certain things, but I would never reject you. You're an amazing woman. I just have to snap out of some of the old ways that were instilled in me. Things I was taught as a kid."
"Storm, it's okay. I know you didn't dream of a mate like me. I heard you, but Isis already warned me. You're not ready for us yet. I'm not ready either, though, but Isis is a wonderful wolf. She let me know that you didn't want me. I'm fine with that but I just want you to know I'm leaving. I'm not giving up on us either. We just need more time. My aunt will continue to train me as a witch. I love Isis, but this part of my life is too much. Aunt Kara would see me through my transition to wolf form. You would no longer have this unwanted responsibility."
"Stella, you're not unwanted responsibility."
"This pack is not open to me. Hell, my own sister wants nothing to do with me. But I don't care, I dont need their acceptance. I would find people who are not so judgemental. That doesn't let people influence them." Stella stood taller with confidence. I stood in front of her.
"Stella, I didn't mean for you to hear that, and I'm sorry I'm unsure of things." I couldn't find the words to explain.
"I understand, Thor."
"Storm Stella, why do you call me Thor?"
"Thor the sexy, strong and mighty thunder God." Stella smiled. "I'm sorry I wasn't what you wanted. I'm leaving now. Take care and we'll meet again."
"You can't leave Stella. Your transition is tomorrow. You have to stay." I said behind Stella. She walked to the door.
"Goodbye Storm."
With a wave of her hand, a black hole appears, and Stella steps through. It closed up, and she was gone. What the f**k! An empty feeling washed over me. Maddox howled before going quiet. Maddox, Maddox. I called but he refused to answer.
