Stella
I walked back to the packhouse. I saw Von on the porch with another guy and, of course, Storm and a few others. Von smiled at me. I gave him a smile back.
"Stella, this is an old friend of mine, Issac." Von introduced us.
I looked towards his friend, and I knew what had to be done. Amber eyes smiled down at me. It is him. The other man from my dream.
Von, I tried to reach him through our mind. I shook Issac's hand, trying to play it off. I didn't need him knowing what was on my mind.
He smiled at me, but I couldn't smile back. I knew he was a traitor. I've been having the same dream over and over. Poor Von didn't even know.
It's up to me to tell him.
Shit how do I activate this mess? I need to talk to Von without everyone else's ears.
"Stella, are you okay?" Alpha Storm stood in front of me. I'm so busy wrapped in my thoughts that I didn't realize I was losing myself. I heard Von's voice tap in my mind.
Stella?
Yes,how the hell do I work this mind thing.
I'll tell you but first you have to calm down. Your energy level is about to burn everyone alive.
Von, I need to speak with you alone. It's important.
Yes, my dear Stella. Just breathe, and I'm right here.
I took a few breaths. My vision cleared, and I saw Von smiling at me. He stood directly in front of me. His soft green eyes made me feel calm.
Good Von spoke softly.
He grabbed my hand. I looked around and saw a shocked expression on everyone's face. Storm looked pissed. I saw him look down at our hands. Von held my hand tight but gently.
"Damn, you have one hell of an energy. Who are you?" Issac asked. I feel myself getting angry again.
Von stuck up his hand for him to be quiet.
"Alpha Storm, permission to use your office, please." Von looked to Storm.
"Follow me." Alpha Storm walked off before us. The three of us went to Storm's office. It was soundproof, and no one could hear in. Storm stayed.
"Now tell me, Stella, what had you ready to burn us all alive out there." Von stood in front of me. His voice is still calm.
"I have been getting readings. I didn't know it was you. Hell, I don't even know you, but those lovely green eyes have been haunting my dreams for weeks. I couldn't figure out why until I contacted my aunt. She said I have psychic abilities. In my dream were your green eyes, also a set of amber eyes." I stared at Von explaining things to him.
"What are you getting at Stella?" Alpha Storm asked, sounding annoyed.
"I had dreams, visions of the future, I saw some very unpleasant things."
"You're psychic?" Storm asked.
"Yes, but I'm new to all this, so bare with me. Von, beware you have a traitor among you. I witness your death. Amber eyes were holding a wooden steak, lodging it into your chest, and I saw fire burning around you. It was horroric to have the same exact scene on replay for days. "
"Issac? Was Issac the one from your dream?"
"I believe so. Just keep your guard up. I had to warn you, I dont know when anything would take place but promise me you'll be careful. "
"Are you sure about this Stella? Do you know where this was?" Von asked.
"Yes, a stone building with high ceilings and large windows. There were lots of books. With bookcases filled with books to the ceiling. There was an old black and white picture of a castle on the wall. The person doing the murder had dark hair, and there was a Ruby ring with gold designs on his left hand." I recalled the location of my dream to Von.
"s**t, okay. I will take in all of this and keep my guard up. I promise." Von smiled.I felt a lot better warning him of the future. At least he had a heads up of the traitor among him.
"Stella, despite the bad reading to my future, I'm glad to have met you. Your aura is brilliant. You are a wonderful little hybrid. A powerful one. Don't worry yourself. Now I'm aware of the danger everything will be fine." He kissed my hand. I realized that he held it the whole time. "Now, to reach one's mind, you have to focus on that person alone. Nothing else." Von talked me through it, and within minutes, I could contact him and listen to his thoughts with little effort."You have to block other people out of your conversation between you and the next. Just focus on that person and that one only. You'll learn it as you go." Von explained.
I smiled. Is it safe to say you are my first vampire friend?
Yes, beautiful Stella. The vampire blood running through your veins is strong. You have an influence. With more teachings and the right guidance, you'll be even more powerful.
After I get my wolf tomorrow. I'll be learning about that portion of my bloodline. It's a bit overwhelming.
I could imagine but learn as much as you can and stay away from people who don't mean you well. People will try and use you if they can. Especially knowing how powerful you are. Stay strong and listen to your beautiful heart. Now you promise me.
"Ok, I will. I promise." I giggled. I meant to direct that to him, but it came out loud.
Von chuckled. He had a nice laugh. He let my hand go, and I looked to Thor. He has an unreadable expression on his face.
"All better, Thor. You can stop looking like that now everything is fine."
"Thor?" Von raised an eyebrow giving him a mischievous smirk.
"Stella.."
"I know, I know that's not your name." He corrects me all the time.
"Are you better now, Stella?" Storm asked.
"Yes. I'm fine." I smiled at him.
"Ok, wait here for a few minutes while I walk Von out.
"Ok," I said, taking a seat on the couch. Releasing so much energy, take some out of you. I relaxed into the couch. Storm looked at me. I saluted him, and he smiled, shaking his head.
