Alpha Storm's visit

1416 Words
Stella After dinner, Darren and I went for a walk. "So Alpha Storm has it hots for you, huh?" Darren ruffled my hair. I giggled, sweeping my hair back into place. "You noticed, did ya?" "Yes, I noticed, I think we all noticed." Darren made kissy faces. I shoved him, but he didn't budge. He is made of stone, and I know this very well. How many times have I tried to take him down during training. "Our wolves think that we are each other's mate, but our human side has not felt it yet. I'm still not sure if I even want a mate yet?" Darren stopped walking, and we faced each other. "Having a mate will be the best thing that ever happened to you. You will have a new best friend. You'll see. You shouldn't fear it." Darren smiled. "Alpha Storm is lucky to have you, and I'm glad he sent you here for training." "He sent me here?" I asked, confused. I never knew this. I figured I was sent to someone Aunt Kara knew. "Yes, I heard Beta Thomas say so. He said he didn't want you training with his pack but with ours." "Did he say why?" I asked. I'm glad to have come here, but being able to ogle Thor would have been love. "No, but I'm happy that he did. I met the most gorgeous, amazing, strong she-wolf. You have grown so much." "Don't turn me to mush." I grinned up at him."I'm glad I'm here too. I've never had a friend before, but I was sent the perfect one. And your mate will be extremely lucky to have you also." Darren grabbed my hand, and we continued walking. "Darren, what does your wolf look like?" I wondered. "He is large and grey with black markings." He said proudly. "Could I see your wolf now? I have never seen one or anyone transform into a wolf from a human." We stopped walking at the clearing. The field is large with lots of wildflowers. It is my next favorite place. The river is my first favorite. "Sure, Mars would love to meet you, but don't get shy about my nakedness again. You should really get used to it, though, because we are naked a lot." "I've noticed a few naked people here and there. Just cover your manly parts when you do get naked."He laughed. He stripped down and handed me his clothing. In a blink, there human, one minute and wolf the next. Storm Maddox was angry. He is mad at me for sending Stella here and mad at the trainer for being so close to her. He wanted to tear him apart. I followed them after dinner,as far as I could, without being noticed. The trainer shifted into his wolf, allowing her to rub his fur. She sat on the ground and he rubbed his body against her and she laughed. He sat beside her and she talked and he listened. Maddox growled angrily, trying to gain control. He did not like her friendship with Darren. I didn't either, but I still wasn't sure what to do about my supposedly mate. I didn't want a hybrid as a Luna. Stella looked stronger now, but would she be enough to handle a rouge attack. Her being a hybrid made her weaker, and our pups would not have a strong bloodline. I needed strong pups to carry my family bloodline on. I was an only child. After me, if I ever leave this earth, there is no one. No uncle or cousins. No one at all. I want to reject her if she turns out to be my mate, but I like Stella. She is a lot different than many of the other she-wolves. She had a natural glow around her. I liked that. Would I be able to walk away from her if she is mine.No Maddox yelled, reading my thoughts. I continued to watch the pair a little longer. I've never been so confused in my entire life. I soon turned and headed back to the pack house. We were leaving in the morning after I looked at Stella's training. Hopefully, she has progressed and could at least defend herself if attacked. Stella It was four a.m. already. After talking with Darren last night, I went to Liza's room to chat for a bit. I told her about Strom and our wolves assumption. She was happy but also let me in on rejecting your mate. If either one of us is rejected, our wolves will suffer. I hadn't even thought about rejecting him, and now, with the details given, I hope he didn't reject me. According to Liza, it felt like your heart was ripped out. I could never do that to Thor. I hope it was mutual. I would hate to have it happen to me. I was dressed and meditated for a start in my day. My witch side has been held at bay. I used my telepathic in my room to move open drawers and open or close the door. Nothing too big. My meditation kept things discrete. I headed to the kitchen to help with breakfast. "You are to help Luna today. We can manage the kitchen without you," Helga said. I grabbed the eggs and began cracking them. "It's not until later, I have time for both." "Here are the rolls. Put them in after the eggs cook."Liza put the pan on the counter. "I will surely burn them. I can't cook. You remember I just helped out with scrambling eggs or cutting veggies." "I'll take them out. Just set the timer for eight minutes." She left with an arm full of plates and utensils. Jessie held the tray of glasses behind her. After breakfast was served, the kitchen staff sat at our table in the back and ate also. I didn't burn the rolls. They were delicious. I didn't need the carbs, but the joy it brought was unbelievable. Jesse came to the table. "Luna Zahra wants to see you, Stella. She is in the dining room with the Alpha and the guests." She said, handing me the butter to take back out. She took my spot after I got up. "Okay." I said, drinking more orange juice and taking my last bite of eggs. I wiped my mouth and left for the dining room. "Yes, Luna, Zahra," I bowed my head. "Why didn't you join us for breakfast?" I sat the butter on the table. "I did my kitchen duties before training." I answered. "You remember we are going to help in the center today and the nursery?" "Yes, Luna. I will be ready afterward." I felt Storm's stare burning into me. His spicy cinnamon scent hit my nose. He smelled yummy. So yummy Isis chimed into my thoughts. "Ok, just meet me when you're done. Tell Darren not to work you too hard today." "Yes, Luna," I said, turning back to the kitchen. I helped clear the dishes and then found Darren. He was in the training field waiting. "You're late." "I helped clean the kitchen, sorry." "No excuses,,warm ups go." Man, being late means I have to do an extra lap of running. I did my warm-up exercises and then straight to the obstacle course. It was hard. Something like on the show ninja warriors do. But I had it I could make it through the whole thing now without passing out. "Good work, Stella." He handed me some water. I took a minute break. Out of nowhere, Darren grabbed me in the choke hold. Self-defense training. I did what I was taught after passing out the first two times I knew exactly what to do. I slipped out of his hold and began fighting back. Darren smiled. "Now hit me like you mean it." "I am," I said out of breath "You're not." He said, kicking me, causing me to land hard on my back. "There would be wolves way bigger and stronger than me. You have to know how to protect yourself and hit hard. And remember pressure points." He reached his hand out to help me up. I use the opportunity to flip him to the ground. I flipped on top of him and punched beside his head with little force. He laughed. "Good job, little wolf."I smiled and got off. We did a few more defensive training skills, and then I ran my finishing laps.
