Stella
It was another restless night. I had the same exact dream again starting at one a.m. Twice. I sat on the floor and started my meditation. Once, I was relaxed. I reached out to Aunt Kara. She appeared like a vision I'm my mind.
Stella, how are you, darling?
Aunt Kara, I would be fine if I could stop having the same disastrous dream over and over.
It's a reading, Stella. A part of psychic powers. You said it's disastrous.
Yes, it's a dream about a man getting killed. He gets stabbed with a wooden steak and burned by this dark-haired guy. When did I get psychic powers?
I have it when something important happens. I guess you got it, too.
What should I do? I'm not getting much sleep. It's on repeat all night.
Do you know the people in the dream?
No, but the victim says my name.
Look through your book for teas. It's one particular one that is for sleeping. Collect the ingredients and do as directed. Do you remember the plants I taught you?
Yes
Okay, dear. I hope this will help you
Thanks, Aunt Kara
You're welcome, my darling.
After we lost our connection, I opened my eyes, hitting the floor.
"Damn," I forgot. I float sometimes when I'm deep in meditation. My ass was sore from the impact.
I got dressed and pulled out my book. I found the sleep aid tea. I wrote down the ingredients. I got dressed and headed out. It is early, six o clock, but the sun is out. I headed to the forest and gathered the ingredients. I hadn't realized I had walked so far in the forest. I hadn't met any guard, unlike on my walk yesterday when I was with Storm.
Property line. Isis reminded me.
I noticed that I was just a few inches from crossing it. I heard a growl in the distance, and a whiff of rot hit my nose. I turned and ran back to the pack house. Storm was on the porch waiting. "Breakfast is waiting, then we train."
"Ok." I said, wrapping the herbs into the paper I had my list on.
"Thor, where is the patrol? I almost made a mistake crossing the property line. A wolf was waiting. I heard his growl, and he smelled awful."
He didn't answer, but I saw his eyes glaze over. I knew he was communicating with someone. I went inside and put my stuff away, and freshen up for breakfast. I opened my door and ran into my thunder god.
I lost my balance, but he quickly steadied me, pulling me into his arms. I stared at his strong chest. He was so tall. I'm 5'6, and I know he had to be way over 6'. He was like a giant 6'5 the least. He ran his finger down my neck. I closed my eyes. Man, he smelled so good. I felt a quick kiss on my neck. Isis was jumping all over the place. I opened my eyes and looked up.
"Don't go in the forest alone without anyone with you. Do you understand?" "Yes, " I answered, lost in his beautiful face. Storm cool, soft lips felt good on my warm skin. He moved away from me. "Go eat breakfast," He ordered before disappearing up the next flight of stairs. Gosh, he does a number on my lady bits.
I headed downstairs to the dining room. Everyone had started eating. I fixed myself a bowl of oatmeal and blueberries. I went into the kitchen. I saw Ashley, but she never spoke, so I didn't either.
Ashley acts like I don't exist around her stuck-up friends. I didn't care, but I didn't want to sit beside either of them. Especially if my own sister didn't want me around. There was a bar stool and a small table by the window. I sat enjoyed the view from the window. Storm had beautiful land. Lots of wildflowers grew around here. The birds and little animals scurry around. It would be better if I had someone to talk to. Later, after breakfast, I plan on walking through the flowers barefoot. Get close to earth and let my negative energy fade away.
That's exactly what I did. I walked and soon found a nice spot to sit and read a book. Training was later so I will enjoy this free time that I have now.
Storm
Rouges. We spotted two last week trying to make their way in our boarders. They were taken out, and this one would be too.
"Check the motion detectors." We had motion detectors a few feet past our boarders. Somehow, this one failed.
"All good, Alpha. It's in place."
"Ok, no one on patrol leave their post until they are relieved or approved to. GOT IT."
"Yes, Alpha."
"This is your only warning. Everyone is back to your post and area." I ordered and watched as they scattered.
"What do you think? Just one passing by." Matthew asked.
"Yeah. That's what it seems."
Jeremy left his post, and he was being punished. If something had happened to Stella, I would have lost my mind. Mate or not, I'm attracted to Stella, and she is growing on me. I would have killed any one who harmed her, including Jeremy, for leaving his post.
Im glad she is very alert to her surroundings, and it paid off. I will kill those rogues as soon as my patrol found them. I wouldn't even care that they hadn't crossed my packland. They were a threat that had to be taken care of.
Later today, I trained with Stella. She is strong and learned more than I realized. Stella was fast, and her wolf was with her, I could tell. She even heals fast. I couldn't wait to meet her wolf. Working with her today, I had to put my guard up. I wasn't sure about us being mates, but I felt chemistry. Electric shocks to my skin every time we touched. A sure sign of true mates.
Being mated to Stella is not such a bad idea to me now. I still had small doubts, but none was worth caring about. After training we had lunch together. She had a fruit salad, and I ate roast beef sandwiches. Stella made me smile, and that gave her more points. Three more days until the moon, and we will see if we are fated.
