3 Lauren I dumped the tray of hors d'oeuvres and slipped behind a half-open door. That was much, much too close. I didn't want Rye to see me yet. This was a reconnaissance mission. The McAllisters and I wanted to know what was really going on with Rye. Elijah, Annabelle and I had agreed that I had the best chance of infiltrating one of these parties unnoticed.
