I fell down the floor when the drawers came alive, opening and closing like they had been opened by someone I couldn’t see. I opened my mouth to scream, but no voice came out. My veins were pulsing in my neck, and sweat started beading on my face. “P-Paul,” I stuttered in a hushed tone, but I couldn’t even move to get my cellphone to call him.
