The sound of my alarm clock woke me up, and when I opened my eyes, I was still in a daze as I tried to remember where I was. The alarm went off before I got my phone, only to realize someone reached for it to turn it off. I rolled to the other side of the bed and gasped, I wasn’t alone. Paul was lying sideways beside me and staring at me. His hand reached and brushed the strands of hair on my face, tucking them into my ears. Paul touched my forehead and trailed my nose down to the corners of my mouth with his fingers gently. “Did something happen last night?” I asked, furrowing my forehead as I looked at his gorgeous face. He did not answer. “Paul, did you erase my memory again?” I uttered in an unhappy voice.   He shook his head. “Then, tell me, why aren’t you talking to me?”
