1.1.6 The Command Center looked like something out of the NASA space program. The room, or what seemed more like an aircraft hanger, was lined with desks, computers, screens, phones, and CTC workers clicking away at their keyboards and squawking away into their headpieces. A movie-theater-sized screen on the north wall displayed a digitalized map of the United States of America.
