chapter 2

i stepped out of the shade and into the blaring new york sun . it was noon and i was looking for a taxi. i called one and made my way to the NYU where i would be spending the next four to five years of my life . i had decided that i would do marine biology and also undergo a language course where we got to learn different languages and on top of that i took cooking classes as well so you could say that i am going to be busy the whole college years .

"miss we have reached 20 dollars"the driver said snapping me out of my thoughts . i paid him and got out . the sight that met my eyes made me speechless and dumbstruck. the campus was so beautiful and so big . i looked around and felt as if i was in heaven . snapping out of my thoughts i grabbed my sitcase and went in the first building .

i went to the reception and asked for my room number and time table . i then heard a man scream from a room nearby . when i asked what happened the receptionist said"those are the trouble makers the college gates close at 10 and anyone who is left outside must wait for 6 in the next morning to get in . these boys came around 12 drunk and harassed the security guard till he let them in , so they are suspended for a week " "oh . btw can you give me the directions to the dorm "i asked not wanting to be lost on my first day. "sorry but i am busy"she said .

they must be the bad boy types so not my type even if they are hot

just then the boys came out and the receptionist called out to one of them "hey josh can u drop this girl at the dorm she is new here" i turned to see the dark haired guy nod(he is the only dark haired guy in his group) and say,"ok stacy"and signalled me to follow him i grabbed my luggage and after saying thanks to stacy left .
