Alex grabbed the bag Logan packed and grinned at her. They were on their way to Harley’s baseball match, and she was glad to have an excuse to get away from the case. Harper and the others were going too, they all agreed to meet up at the field this morning. Logan had made snacks for everyone, with Harley’s help. Devina had decided to stay behind and look after Winter House and the remaining guests, including the mayor and his family. She laughed as Harley rushed past her to the car, throwing her bag in the back seat and then rushing back inside to help her mother carry the rest of the things out. Alex had to admit that it was nice to see her excited about something again. She’d been very down in the dumps after the magic incident.
When everything was packed she waited for Logan to decide
