Patrick Ford shot back almost instantly. “What is there about him to get angry over?”
Summer Knight looked at her big brother, completely exasperated.
Angry? Who’s not angry? The man was clearly fuming.
She moved beside him, gently trying to comfort him like calming down a grumpy kid.
“Come on, big bro. You and Lucas have been brothers for over two decades. I get that he’s got a fiery temper, but you’re the older one—can’t you just let some things slide? Arguing all the time really doesn’t solve anything.”
Patrick didn’t bring her to Capital for nothing. Part of it was definitely their mom, but a big reason was all this sibling drama that needed sorting out.
