Cassie’s POV Three days later. I glided around the rink, focusing on the rhythm of my skates, the smooth motion helping me concentrate. I was deep in practice when I noticed Becca waving at me from the edge of the rink. "Cassie, did you get my message?" she called, her voice cutting through the steady sound of my blades against the ice. I skated over, slightly confused. "No, I didn’t. What message?" Becca pointed toward Clio, who was lounging on the bleachers, scrolling through her phone. "I told Clio to let you know about our monthly outing. It’s a tradition for the cheer team to get together and have some fun. We usually do it at the end of the month, but lately Margaret has had some issues going on, so she shifted it to today." I blinked, still trying to piece everything together.
