To say that Presley out bid Megan at the auction to win that New York date with Hobie would be an understatement. Presley squashed Megan’s attempt. Completely annihilated any possibility that the younger woman might win along with the hopes of anyone else at the fundraiser who might be interested.
Money, after all, was not an issue for Presley Monroe, first born daughter of Mr. Money Bags. She had, quite literally, billions of dollars at her command. When something caught her eye, anything at all, Presley could absolutely afford it. No questions asked. Poor little Megan never stood a chance and by the end of the event Presley almost felt sorry for her. Almost.
