Chapter 23 She and Jaxson were reviewing her schedule for the upcoming day. Jaxson, positioned in the chair opposite her desk, had his tablet open and was busy touching and swiping the screen with his stylus. Presley gazed out her window at the Manhattan morning, distractedly tapping a pen on the armrest of her chair. Still looking out the window, she blurted out, “I do good things, don’t I?” The question might have been unexpected, but it didn’t surprise Jaxson.
