Casey's POV When Mary came in, she was crying. Which made me cry harder. She got into the bed with me and held me. We were like that for I don't know how many minutes but it felt like hours. As I felt myself slip away from exhaustion, I felt her cover me up and got up to leave me. I was about to get up and stop her but I was too tired. Then I heard her speak to someone. "Can we get her a room, until at least when I leave. I'm taking her home." She asked. "Yes, Mary." Someone said. "Mary, right? Can you bring her in, in the morning, so we can question her more?" I heard my sister say. "Yes, I will. I want to find who in the hell did this to her. She don't do anything, other than go to school. She's about to be graduating in a week or two for law. I know you can probably talk to her best friend, she's 3 floors under us the same room number as Casey." Mary told her. "Okay, we'll head over there in the morning. Here's my card, if you or your husband have anything that could help us, find this prick, call any time." Liv said. "Sure will." Mary said then heard someone walk away. Liv's POV After we left the hospital, we went to her apartment to talk to her friend Harley. When we got there, saw her door was opened a c***k. We drew out our guns and pushed the door open and aimed, looking around the apartment. When we didn't see anything until got to the bedroom. We saw a woman standing in there going through a dresser. "Freeze, put your hands up." I called out. She done what we said and back up some and turned around. "This is my apartment, can I help y'all?" "Your door was left open." Elliott said. "We thought someone broke in and trashed the place." "No, I thought it shut it all the way. I only ran in to get some things for my next class." She told us. "But again what can I help you detectives with?" "How do you know that we're detectives?" I asked. "Well the clothes for one and two I kinda figured." "Well, we're here to talk to you about your best friend Casey?" Ell said. "What about her?" Harley asked. "She was attacked and r***d late last night after she brought you home." "What!? Oh my god, is she okay? Where she at?" "She's at the hospital and Mary is with her." "Sweet lady, she is. Even her husband. Took in Casey like she was one of their own." Harley told us. "Can you tell us if you seen anyone that's been hanging around the place like they don't need to be. Or even following either you or Casey?" I asked. "No, not that I know of. I only stick to myself other than being at school or Casey and her neighbors." "Are you sure?" I asked. "I'm positive, detective." "How about the bar from last night? Did you see anyone staring at y'all or even follow y'all home?" "No, not that I recall. I was kinda out of it. I had too much to drink. We're both graduating, majoring in law, in a week." "Congratulations," both Elliott and I said. "Well here's my number and if you remember anything don't be afraid to call." I had said. Elliot and I walked out of her apartment and headed up to Casey's. They were still working on her apartment when we came up. Once we got there, I looked around the apartment, seeing anything that looks odd or out of place, in my eyes. "Did y'all get anything?" Elliott asked. "Yeah, we got hairs, finger prints, blood, and most of all, he left us a present. And a lot of it." "Meaning?" "Meaning, I'm guessing he didn't get the chance to get off inside the victim, thanks to her neighbor, pulling him off of her. Guessing when the neighbor pulled him off, he climaxed all over the shower wall and floor." "Just freaking gross." I had said. "Take everything and hurry up with it. This is personal to me. She's my baby sister, and I want to find who did this to her." "Your baby sister?" "Yes, now please do as I say." I said then went to her closet and packed her a bag of a few outfits. Once I was done, I grabbed the bag and Elliot and I left her apartment. I knocked on the door, that they said was her neighbor. When he opened the door, we showed him our badge. "I'm detective Benson," "Your Casey's sister? I know all about you." The man said. "Good, here's a bag of her clothes I had packed for her. I figured she wanted to stay with y'all since what happened." "Yeah, probably." "Here's my card, if you have seen anything that would lead to this, don't be afraid to call." I said. "Sure will. How is she by the way?" He asked. "Stable, your wife is with her at the moment." "M'kay." As I was walking away, I had stopped and turned back around. "And thank you for taking care of my sister when I couldn't. Nor did I know about her." "Your welcome." I smiled some then we both were off. We got to the car and went back to the station. Once we were back, everyone went to work on everything that was found for the case. It was gonna be a long one for this one. Just hope we find who this man is.
