Ace POV
I groan and shift in my sleep, the ringing of my phone stops before ringing again.
"Ace... Your phone..." I hear Julia mummer.
I don't want to wake her up, I get up sleepily and take the phone. I see the caller ID to see Ryan's name.
The time says three in the morning. I swipe and answer the call. "Hello?" My voice came out husky.
"Ace..."
"Yeah? Is everything okay man?" I ask him.
"Ace, is Julia with you?" He asked.
"Yeah... Why do you ask?"
"Step out of the room bro," he spoke. I suspiciously stand up and go to the balcony closing the door gently. Julia is sleeping peacefully, I don't want to wake her up.
"I'm on the balcony. Tell me what's the problem?"
"Ace, Julia's grandmother passed away an hour ago." All the sleep left my body as I blink my eyes.
