I slowly open my eyes and look out of the window, looking up at the sky, trying to gauge how long I have been asleep, as if it really f*****g matters. It can’t have been very long at all as it is still light outside, even though the sun is starting to set. I didn’t particularly want to nap in the car, but I had been so knackered I couldn’t keep my eyes open and once they were closed it hadn’t taken long for me to drift off.
