I am back on my feet and pacing back and forth. “Who are these gods and why are they placing this great responsibility on the mother royal?” I asked. Though it came out as more or less a demand.
“That would be us.” A deep voice boomed. It came with such power that it made me shiver. I turned to see two animals emerge from the shadows. A snow white owl that turned into a beautiful woman, though she carried a shield and spear with power, she also had grace.
The other was a giant snake that had the most beautiful colors and the darkest black eyes.
