I have always despised public events like this. They were unnecessarily noisy, usually making it hard for me to hear my own thoughts. Everyone talking over each other in need for their voices to be heard, a wide range of people ogling and trying to see if whatever outfit one wore was real designers or fake for topic of gossip.
That is the word right there. Gossip.
Events like this were made for gossip. But I do not care about their waggling tongues this time because that is the purpose of my presence here. Myra and I are supposed to give them something to talk about.
