Lane has lived his life with so much pressure to be perfect. From the time he was a boy he was expected to sit straight, speak properly and learn the ways of an Alpha. Normally Alpha's don't pass down the title until their successor is 21, but he has noticed his father growing weaker and as he approaches his 19th birthday, he knows that the title will be his sooner than he anticipated. Growing up in pack life, Lane was always sheltered from the world outside. He knows that as he gets closer to his role as Alpha, he needs to get out and experience the world for himself. Packing his bag, Lane sets of to explore the world outside of the Lupin Council. He knows that he will experience rogues, mages and other potentially threatening species, but he must do this if he wishes to be ready for the responsibilities that lay ahead. By the time she graduated, she had attended twenty different human schools and lived in countless different places. As a girl, Selene's mother placed her into the human foster system after her powers began to develop at the age of 10. Selene doesn't blame her mother, she knows her actions were out of desperation to protect her from the coven. -Selene- Looking out the window of the bus, Selene watches as the buildings pass her by. Selene knows that this clock is not human built as she can always feel the power radiating off of it. She smiles as she watches the crowd of tourists cooing like pigeons as they admire its beauty. Suddenly she can feel eyes watching her as a cold sweat starts at the nape of her neck, dripping down her back as a chill runs through her to her core. Turning around she locks eyes with the most beautiful man she has ever seen. He is impossibly tall reaching far above anyone else standing on the street, his rich brown hair is long and in waves that just reach his broad shoulders, his gray eyes are mesmerizing as they stare into her soul. She feels her breath catch as he takes a step towards her and suddenly she finds herself running. -Lane- Every fibre of my being is electrified as I watch her auburn hair shift in the wind. I can smell sage and lavender as her scent invades my senses. She is small, no more than 5'2, standing there on the corner watching the humans as they are mesmerized by the enchanted clock. I can feel her power and I know that she is not human. Suddenly her back stiffens and she turns. My heart jumps as I look into her violet blue eyes, I step forward and suddenly she runs...
