As I walked out of the restaurant, I felt like I had been punched in the gut. The air was knocked out of me, and I couldn't breathe. My heart was racing, and my mind was spinning. I couldn't believe what I had just seen. Ashley, the woman I loved, the woman I thought loved me, was kissing another man.
I felt a wave of anger wash over me, followed by a deep sadness. I couldn't understand why she would do this to me. Hadn't I given her everything she wanted? Hadn't I shown her how much I cared?
I walked blindly, not knowing where I was going. I just needed to get away from the restaurant, away from the pain. I felt like I was going to vomit, like my heart was going to burst out of my chest.
As I walked, I couldn't help but think about all the times we had shared together.
