I looked at Christian, confusion etched on my face. "What are you talking about, Christian? I don't know what you're referring to."
He laughed bitterly. "Don't play dumb with me, Ashley. I saw you. I saw you with him. At the same restaurant where we had a beautiful morning together. You tainted it. You ruined it."
My expression changed from confusion to concern. "Christian, I don't know what you're talking about. I didn't meet anyone at the restaurant. I came straight home after my meeting."
