Samantha grew up in a small town in Texas, Ohio, where poverty was a constant companion. She knew what it was like to go to bed with an empty stomach, to wear hand-me-down clothes, and to feel like she was destined for nothing more than a life of struggle. But Samantha was determined to escape the cycle of poverty. She worked hard in school, earning good grades and eventually landing a scholarship to a community college.
After completing her associate's degree, Samantha made the bold decision to leave Texas and start a new life in Singapore. She was drawn to the city-state's vibrant economy, its diverse culture, and its promise of opportunity. She arrived in Singapore with little more than a suitcase and a dream, but she was determined to make a better life for herself.
