As I stepped into the hotel room, I couldn't help but grin like a teenager who had just asked his crush out on a date. I was still on cloud nine after finally tracking down Ashley and having a conversation with her. I had been worried that she would shut me out and not want to talk to me, especially since she had left without a proper goodbye. But luckily, that wasn't the case.
