Christian turned to me, his eyes calm and soothing. "Hey, Ashley, let's talk about this."
I shook my head, feeling tears prick at the corners of my eyes. "I don't know, Christian. I feel so violated. She just did it without asking me."
Christian nodded understandingly. "I know. But think about it, Ashley. Aunt Vicky did it because she cares about you. She wanted to protect you."
