Ashley's POV
As I entered Christian's room, I was relieved to see him sitting up in bed, trying to flex his shoulder. But my relief was short-lived, as I saw the pain etched on his face.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" I asked, trying to sound calm.
Christian winced, his face contorting in pain. "It hurts like hell, Ash. I don't know how much more of this I can take."
I rushed to his side, feeling a surge of concern. "Oh, Christian, I'm so sorry. Maybe you should lie back down and rest?"
Christian shook his head, gritting his teeth. "No, I need to move. I need to get out of here."
