"You are what?" I said in unison with Christian as he shouted, "You are what!"
My voice laced with disbelief, my eyes wide with shock, my brow furrowed in annoyance, my heart feeling like it was stabbed. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
Christian rubbed his face in frustration. "Samantha, what are you talking about? I haven't touched you in forever. Why do you keep ruining things for me?" His voice was laced with exasperation and frustration.
Angry, Samantha came closer. "You selfish prick! I'm the one whose life you've ruined. And what do you mean you haven't touched me in forever? Remember the night at the club?"
