Chapter 3

Mira’s POV

“I'm going to have so much fun f*****g you bitches.” One of the men growled.

The scent of desire filled my nostrils as I fought for my freedom, but to no avail since the cuffs were very tight. The night I dreaded so much had come, and I was fighting my ravaging desire to pounce or be pounced upon by a man.

The room was filled with moans and cries from both omegas and able men of the Stone Creek pack. Some of them seemed like they were enjoying it, while the others seemed like they were being forced.

All I could see was the day of my death drawing closer. Arianna seemed to be tormenting me without even trying. The last time I saw her was when she was with Alpha Harrison. I hadn't been fed ever since then, but the intense desire to get pinned against the wall and f****d till I lost consciousness overrode the hunger I felt.

“Hello beautiful.” A sweetly rough voice purred just to my side, and I was reminded of my current troubles. I fought the desire I felt, also trying to yank myself free from the cuffs that tied me to the wall.

“Jamie, please.” I begged. I had come to know his name since he was the one always coming to check up on me every hour on the orders of Alpha Harrison.

“You don't have to beg me to make love to you.” He whispered against my ears, almost making me moan. “I've always wanted to, since the moment I laid my eyes on you.”

“I don't want to have s*x!” I snapped defiantly. Jamie didn't move back. In fact, he moved closer and grabbed my butt.

I tried to weave free, but there was no way out.

“Your body says otherwise.” Jamie smirked, looking at me seductively. “Your scent says you want every part of me till I'm lost of air.”

“I… I… I don't want to… have sex.” I growled, and then he grabbed me forcefully.

“You don't have a choice.” He said hungrily. He started uncuffing me so he could pin me to the bed.

I played along just to get my chance to escape from the hell hole I had found myself.

“Please… go easy…” I begged as he was almost done with the cuffs. I could see how hard he had gotten. “I think that's too big for me.”

“Oh dear, I would put every inch of it inside you.” He cackled, and one hand got free. I had my eyes only on the door which was just a few inches away from me.

“I might be the only one that sees you for the true and rare beauty that you are here, and I won't let tonight pass me by.” Jamie said, panting really hard.

The moment my second hand was free, Jamie walked to my front just to admire my ‘rare beauty’. I looked at the other guys and they were having s*x with other ladies. Some had them in twos, some one after the other, and some in threes.

I had just one chance. Just one opportunity to change the course of destiny.

It's either I escape and live out my life as a rogue, or I get caught, and I die immediately. Either way, my troubles end, and I die. Maybe I prefer the latter.

“I'm going to enjoy ….”

“I'm so sorry.” I muttered, slapping his face with the cuff that was tied to my second hand. I also kicked him in the nuts, and he doubled over. I sent him one last smack with the cuffs, and I made for the door immediately. The attacks were so simultaneous and fast that he couldn't even mutter a word.

“You f*****g b***h!” He yelled as I ran past him. I yanked the door open, and all I could see were trees.

“Either way, I die.” I muttered, running into the trees with all the strength I had left.

The trees would at least mask my scent a little, and maybe I'd just escape. I glanced back during my run, and I saw him standing outside, holding his groin with his eyes focused on me. The frown on his face assured me of my death if he could catch me.

I faced the woods and I ran, despite the intense urge to throw myself to the floor and please myself.

Just as I got into the woods, Jamie's steps started sounding really close. I knew that I was done for, but there was nothing I could do than try to escape.

I saw a little ditch, and I threw myself in it, hurriedly camouflaging myself with barks and leaves on the ground.

I had to cover my mouth with my hand as the urge to please myself heightened. I held my thigh as I shut my eyes, biting my lower lips and curling my toes just to dampen the effect of the full moon on me.

“Pretty Mira…” Jamie called in a sing-song voice. I immediately called myself to order as he sounded closer than whatever evil was about to catch up with me. “Come out from wherever you're hiding. This doesn't have to be painful.”

I could hear him walking around, and the closer he got, the louder my heart thumped.

“I can smell you around here. I'll have you tonight whether you like it or not.” He said confidently.

My body wanted him, but my head screamed No. My willpower is never so strong, but I have to escape this hell hole one way or another.

Jamie was now standing over the ditch. I could still see his hard bulge , and fear rumbled in my stomach.

“Tada!” He jumped into the ditch, smirking and smiling.

“Argh!!” I screamed in a high pitched tone, punching his groin again, but this time with my hands.

“f**k!!” He cussed, doubling over.

I jumped out of the ditch, and I took to my heels again. Maybe Jamie being very horny is what would save me. The closer I got to the end of the woods, the close Jamie got to me.

I could see a new pack's territory, but I didn't care. As long as I get to be rid of this madness tonight, I'd bother about the rest tomorrow.

Jamie's hand touched the hem of my shirt, and I immediately moved in a zig zag pattern to escape him, but that only made him intensify his resolve to catch up with me.

It was already a miracle that he hadn't caught up with me yet. I guess running for my life has made me faster.

After what felt like an eternity of running, and Jamie's hands touching the hem of my shirt, I shot out of the Stone Creek pack's territory.

The air shifted, and I was too interested in seeing what Jamie had done only to realize too late that a very tall figure was standing in front of me.

I bumped into him, but he didn't move an inch. Instead, I was the one that fell. I was close to the ground when he caught me with his leg, and then slowly let me down.

Jamie was now walking, and somehow, my head ached really bad.

The tall figure bent over, and I saw that his eyes were red.

He's an Alpha! I'm absolutely f****d.

I've seen a lot of men, and several species of them, but this one had a beauty that none other possessed. I couldn't see his face properly due to the dark, but I could see how handsome he was. The dangerous kind of handsome.

He muttered a word, but I didn't hear what he said since my vision was blurring badly.

My chest tightened like I was about to make a crazy decision. I could feel my stomach knotting rather than butterflies that ladies claim to have when they see pretty men.

And it all got worse when I muttered the word, “mate!”

I covered my mouth immediately, wondering what had just happened to me.

The Alpha was taken aback as his face furrowed into a frown.

Jamie had gotten to where we were, and his groin seemed to have relaxed.

“Mate?” Jamie scoffed, and I swallowed hard.
