"I wanted to thank you for rescuing Seth. I thought I had lost him." Elora said again with her eyes glued at the Alpha's face and trying to make sure that he didn't get carried away again by his thoughts.
"Seth is like a brother to me as well, it could have been anyone." Bruce said to Elora with a smile on his face.
Elora seemed to really know what was going on with Bruce, so she gradually bent down and lay down on the green grass just beside Bruce who turned and looked at her just to be sure of what she was doing.
"You know I promised my parents that I was going to keep him safe no matter what. I thought I had broken that promise tonight." Elora said, but for the second time, her words were only met by silence from Bruce.
