"Rose!" Ronald shouted as he started to stand up after crouching down.
Felicia and Audrey immediately turned to him in alarm. They were both surprised to realize Rose wasn't there.
"Damn it! Where are those lovers? They're so troublesome!" Ronald urged irritably.
Audrey, who saw Ronald's expression, immediately went on. "Patience Ronald, maybe Rose is looking for Jerry around here. We can look for him now," Rose said in an uncharacteristically soft voice.
"Yes, we should look for them immediately, even if it's inconvenient." Ronald nodded his head and turned to face Johnson.
Then he said again, "Mr. Johnson, I will carry you as you walk."
Suddenly, Johnson burst into tears. It wasn't to cry over his pain, but to be moved. He remembered everything before his leg was treated by Audrey.
