***RENA***
I ran as far as my legs could carry me, but not as fast as the wolves behind me, they were closing in, and they were closing in fast. I paused to think even though that wasn't the smartest thing to do right now, okay, where was I supposed to go?
“Father always said not to go north, but how the hell am I supposed to know which place is north or not?” I furiously spoke out to no one in particular, scratching my head as though that was any help.
“I should have always taken Dad seriously, I should have,” I paced in frustration, trying to catch my breath and find my sense of direction.
“There she is!” I heard big Joe yell behind me, he's always hated me, and my father and now he had the opportunity, I knew he wasn't going to spare me, and so, without thinking twice, I turned to my right, entering another territory, even though I wasn't sure it was the right one.
But guess it was, since no one followed me in, I stopped, panting heavily. I held my stomach, trying to feel my baby even though I knew it hadn't even formed a heartbeat yet, but somehow, I could feel it, it was still there, right inside of me, I sighed in relief and took another step in.
But then, everything happened so fast.
I stepped on something very sharp and got caged in a trap made of steel. I winced in pain, I couldn't move, and I didn't know what else to do, but before I could find a solution, a gas was released right inside the cage, and slowly, everything began to blur.
I had been captured, and boom, it all went blank.

I woke up feeling sore all over, everywhere was dark and gloomy.
“You're awake,” a feminine voice called out but I couldn't make a face out of the voice, “we almost thought you weren't going to make it,” the voice said. I tried to sit up, but I couldn't, I was chained.
“Sorry, it's precautionary,” she said, I wanted to ask what was, but I couldn't find my voice.
“The chains, it precautionary,” she added as though reading my very thoughts, “and don't try to talk, at least, not until you take this,” she lit up a candle and handed me a drink in a bowl. I gulped it but immediately regretted my actions, it was bitter.
“Come on, take it all, bitter, but it will help stimulate your vocal cords so you can speak,” the lady explained, and even though I couldn't clearly see her face, I felt she was being genuine, if she'd wanted me dead, she could have killed me when they found me, so slowly, I gulped the content of the bowl, and started feeling better almost immediately.
“Wh… here am I? And my baby?” I croaked out, touching my belly.
“Oh, the first word she says after a whole month,” she said, I froze, a month?
“What do you mean a whole month? What's today's date?” I asked, my mind racing, how had a month gone by, just like that?
“It’s March 19th,” she answered, my wedding was set for April 17th, it's been over a month, and she was right.
“How? Why?” I asked her.
“Well, since it seems you don't have your wolf, you didn't heal up with the pace of other wolves but that of a human, you were in what the humans will call a coma? Yeah, it's a coma and it was great, if not you'd have felt the pain of the wound, and your baby is fine,” she said.
What wound? Then I remembered, I had stepped on a trap that pierced through my feet. I wiggled my feet and I felt great, stiff, but great.
“Now, sleep, the concoction works better if you sleep, by morning, we can continue this conversation,” she said and immediately, I started feeling sleepy, and I laid there on the bed. As I drifted to sleep, my mind wandered to what had happened to my father's body back in Credence Wood.

“Your Highnesses,” the familiar voice from the night before said as I steered awake. The bright morning sun shining through a window and directly into my face, I frowned.
“I think she's waking up,” a male voice said. I felt people gather around me, I slowly opened my face, and immediately I did, I raised my hands to rub my eyes, as I saw double figures.
“Is she alright Simone?” one of the figures asked while the rest kept mute.
“You could give her some air,” the female said and the figures stepped back a bit, I fully opened my eyes and attempted to sit up, this time, I had been unchained.
“Should she be sitting?” another of the faces said, but with the same voice.
Then it dawned on me, I wasn't hallucinating or anything, they were all alive, they were quads, look alike quads.
“Are you all real?” I asked pointing my hands to them, I had never met quads.
One of them burst out in hysterical laughter, “she hasn't heard of us?” he said amidst his laughter while the rest just gave him a look that said ‘Not now.’ The one laughing stopped and comported himself.
Then I took him each of their countenance, they all looked the same, same green eyes, same face, same height, same build, it was going to be hard to tell them apart.
Then it hit me!
This was the bastard alphas, the one father and Andrew always spoke of, they led the wolf realm, but, they did things together, slept with the same woman, and rained terror on anyone that dared to go against them, I felt a chill run down my spine and I swallowed hard, I knew I had to act right if I wanted to stay here and not be beheaded or have my heart ripped apart like father’s.
“Simone?” one of them called, looking right into my face, I held his gaze in mine too, his green eyes having a glow that the others didn't. “I think she needs some help freshening up, and kindly send her to the quarters in the main castle, so she can be more comfortable,” he said, still looking into my face, I felt my stomach churn, something about him ignited something in me.
“Sure your Highness,” the voice from last night answered, Simone, I turned to look at her face and she was a pretty ebony-skinned woman who looked exactly like the pack doctor back in Credence Wood.
The alpha quads exited the room, with the last one that I had held gaze with exiting last, thankfully, they wore different clothes and that alone was the only thing that made one recognize them.
“Are you shocked? I was the first time they saved me too, Jeremy saved me and put me on a horse, I rode, and I met Dylan in front, and that day, they were wearing the same clothes, I thought I had met a god,” she said with a smile as she walked towards me.
“Saved you?” I asked and she nodded.
“Four years ago,” she added and I was wowed.
“Give me a minute, I'll take you to your new room in a jiffy,” she said, stashing different bottles in her bag.
“Come on,” she signaled and I stood up, walking felt new to me, but soon enough, I got used to it.
I was going to start a new life, and hopefully, my revenge plan on Andrew was going to start, right away.
