***RENA***
“Yes, I got the key, silly me, I totally forgot,” Simone said behind me, making me jump, I had been listening to the conversations in court. Thankfully, she didn't look at all offended.
“Come on,” she gestured.
I sighed as Simone and I walked away from the courtroom, soon enough, we got to my new room.
I gazed around my new room, it was nothing compared to what I had back in Credence Wood, father had made sure I had everything I needed, but this was going to do, it was small and cozy and soon, I was going to make it feel like home to me.
“So, do you like it? If you don't, it can be changed, but let me warn you, the other rooms have rats and this is the rat-free one, I figured since you're wolfless, you won't want to be around rats,” Simone said with a smile and I nodded, then, she gave me a look and started walking towards the door.
“Simone?” I called and she turned back.
“Yes?” she answered, raising an eyebrow.
“Can we keep it a secret? I mean, can we keep me being wolfless a secret,” I begged with my eyes and she smiled.
“Not necessary, everyone in the pack knows we brought in a wolfless woman, here, no one judges, lots of other wolfless folks found sanctuary here, Rena” she explained and I sighed in relief, this wasn't like Credence wood where wolfless people were looked down upon as abominations.
“How do you know my name?” I asked her.
“Your wedding dress,” she said sadly, “you had imprinted your name on it so we found out your name thus,” she added, and exited the room, leaving me to my newfound home and the thoughts of my failed wedding.
I took a sit on my bed and touched my stomach, it still hadn't started to grow big, but the knowledge of knowing a baby was growing in me gave me hope, to start again.
My mind drifted to the conversation I had earlier overheard, if Andrew ever came here, then that meant I was going to be captured. I sighed, life was being too harsh on me. I knew I had two options, run away from Silverstone or stay back and avoid Andrew’s party at all cost when they arrived, but if I ran, I had nowhere else to run off to, and with a baby, I needed care and food and this place offered all of that.
“I will just explain who I am and my innocence in all of this,” I decided as I stood to my feet, even though I had no sense of direction in this castle whatsoever, I was determined to find the alphas and tell them the truth.
If I was honest enough, they could help me out, or not, my heart began to race fast at the unknown outcome of what I was about to do.
Remembering the route to the courtroom, I turned in that area and almost bumped into the alphas but stopped and hid behind a pillar.
“Come on Tyler, how do you expect us to tell her she's mated to 4 alphas?” one of them called out.
“Well, why the f**k can't she even feel the mate bond already,” another one yelled furiously.
“Well, Simone did say she's wolfless remember?” another pointed out as they each ran their hands through their hair.
What? The alpha quads were mated to one woman? And a wolfless one at that? I sighed, she was lucky to have powerful handsome men like this, and here I was, wolfless and unlucky, being hunted all over by my ex.
“I still believe we can tell Rena, we've waited for a whole month,” my ears sprang at the mention of my name, were they talking about me?
“Tyler come on,” the glowy green-eyed one from earlier said, turning around, I quickly hid myself, so he couldn't catch sight of me. Then slowly, I peeped my head out.
“How would you feel if I told you you're mated to 4 different women,” the glowy green-eyed one said to his brother, Tyler.
“Blake, trust me, I’d be ecstatic,” he said, his name was Blake, I made a mental note.
“Sure you'll be,” Blake rolled his eyes.
I left the corner and walked away, my second chance mates were alphas, 4 alphas. I couldn't get the thoughts out of my head, this was all crazy, insane, but weirdly, I couldn't deny I didn't like each of them.
What if I had my wolf, would I feel something greater than I feel now? I thought. Everything was like a haze, confusing.
“But then, if I ended up being with an alpha of Silverstone, a pack bigger than Credence Wood, I'd have power over Andrew, he couldn't capture a Luna of Lycan alphas,” I muttered to myself. I didn't need a magician to tell me, this was my break, and my second chance mates were going to be my saving grace.
“Stop!” I heard one of them yell behind me and I
Froze in my step, slowly, I turned around and he walked towards me, Blake was walking towards me, looking so pissed, yet so handsome.
He got to where I was and dragged me into an empty room, “Now, spill, who are you and why have you been spying on us,” he yelled at me.
I flinched.
“I…i… I'm Rena,” I managed to say.
“Yes, tell me something I don't know,” he hissed out, and my legs turned jelly.
“And I'm an outcast, from credence wood,” I said, closing my eyes shut since I didn't know what was going to come for me next.
“Let me guess, you are the traitor's daughter,” he mocked and I opened my eyes.
“No, of course not, I mean, sure that's what they say, but that's not what happened, in fact, I was supposed to get married to Andrew and somehow, father got framed and he was killed and I am being hunted,” I explained the much I knew and his expression softened.
“That explains the wedding dress you were in when I found you,” he said.
Wait what?! Blake was the one who found me?
“Well, what's your plan now? I'm sure you know they're coming for you,” Blake said, inching closer to me.
I didn't say anything, the tension in the air shut me up, and no words formed in my mouth, Blake leaned in closer and closer till we were just inches apart.
He was going to kiss me, and I wanted it, so I shut my eyes tightly.
“Marry me,” he hissed into my ear and my eyes opened up immediately, I almost blurted out a resounding ‘YES’, but thankfully, I was able to think before talking and I shut my mouth.
What if he was just joking? I thought.
“What do you say?” Blake asked, looking at me intently while I just bit my lower lips nervously, and just as I attempted to open my mouth to speak, his brothers walked in looking rather serious.
“Son of a b***h!!!” I heard one of his brothers say, at the same time I saw a punch flying into Blake’s face and he was thrown to the ground.
I shut my eyes for a minute, what had I done?
“I'm sorry,” I said as I opened my eyes a bit, squinting them.
“Come on,” one of them said, grabbing Blake from the floor, they went out of my sight, neither of them regarding me or anything, I just stood there looking confused.
But I knew one thing, I wanted Blake, and I wanted his brothers too, I wanted them all.
