Chapter 7 Can’t give up..

After a bit of crying little Bruno got up and decided he was not going to give up his mother without her being out there no matter what. Going over toward the mountain side little Bruno remember being confused and walking up to the ridge of the mountain to get as high as possible. Back to following his trail he made his way up the mountain but he found no bear in sight. But he saw the same mountain goat from earlier but this time she was with a large mountain goat. Little Bruno walked over to them asking if a bear might have come this away. The female goat remembered Little Bruno and she that said yes there has been a large bear searching for her cub a few days ago. The goat came over and thanked Little Bruno for his help a few days ago. Introducing themselves the mountain goat said her name was Victoria and her mate was Victor. And together they were very happy now that she learned to be just as aggressive as he was. Little Bruno got excited knowing his mother was looking for him. He thanked Victoria and headed his way. Headed toward the mountain side little Bruno knew he was on the right trail to his mother finally. Seeing something far off an large animal that had strips little Bruno wanted to get a closer look to see what this animal was. It was tall with long legs with white and black stripes. Little Bruno slowly moved toward the animal slowly sneaking around trees and moving around a pile of bush toward the animal. As the Zebra met eyes with Bruno he ask what a small cub was doing roaming around with his mother. Little Bruno looking wide eyed asked what he was he had never seen an animal like him before. An the zebra told Little Bruno he wasn’t from around this area of the world. Some mean creatures attacked him and put him on a ship and he escaped an swam to shore. That’s how he ended up here he told Little Bruno. What’s your name like Bruno asked. Shane the zebra told him, and little Bruno asked what it was like being without his family. Shane said it was sad and hard to be without his family or anyone of his kind. But he proved to be tougher than he thought he ever could be. Little Bruno told Shane about how he lost his mother and he was all alone as well. Shane told little Bruno he would help him find his mother if he would like and being alone little Bruno said that would be great. So the two set off in the direction that Victoria told Little Bruno she had seen his mother. Once again little Bruno had a companion to help for his mother traveling beyond the mountain toward the woods the two talked about where Shane was from and his family and they always traveled together in a family unit. And little Bruno told of his adventures with his mom and how he always got into mischief.

Little Bruno an his new companion a young zebra searching for little Bruno’s mother. Wondering toward the forest each one was on guard knowing it was easier for another animal to hide more easily that they would have to stay alert. Walking together they both were getting hungry coming upon a patch of different berries with some strawberries and patches of blackberries the two happily ate as many berries as they could. And then started on their journey across the forest to track any signs. Once then were in the middle of the forest there was a large creature walking around on two legs very large and moving slow like he was looking for something very important. Scared but very curious they wondered what this creature was for they stayed still and watch the large hairy creature looking under rocks and moving around furious in strength. Suddenly the creature stopped as if he saw something and looking over at each other the part could see the large creature watching them. He asked if they could help him and looking at each other and slowly moving toward the creature. What do you need us to help you with as little Bruno told him their names as the large hairy creature told them his name was Herbert. As Herbert told little Bruno and Shane he lost his lucky charm it was a shiny medallion with a sun on one side and a mountain on the other side. So the three looked around the area under rocks and around trees looking for the shiny medallion. After a few hours Shane spotted something shine over next to a large rock. Being excited Herbert started dancing around his lucky charm had been found. I have never saw you around here little Bruno told Herbert and Herbert responded that his kind usually only come out at night. And what kind of animal are you Shane asked Herbert stated he was a Bigfoot and his type lived alone. Because there was not a lot of his kind around. Have you seen a mother bear looking for her cub Little Bruno asked. But the Bigfoot said no he had not seen any bears but little Bruno lately. Where is your home Shane asked Herbert? Herbert asked if the two would like to see his home. And the two companions agreed they would love to see where a Bigfoot lives. Walking together the three of them moved toward Herbert’s cafe on the back side of the woods near a cliff. Walking into the large cave Shane looked around in disbelief at the size of the inside of the cave. Herbert had a nice home with room to float in between rooms or stay in different areas of the cave. After spending time with Herbert the two decided they needed to find to place to sleep for the night as Herbert told them to stay with him for the night he had plenty of room. So the three talked and laughed into the night as they fell asleep together enjoying each other’s company. Little Bruno woke to the early morning sky. As little Bruno slowly moved realized he was in the home of a Bigfoot I of the largest creatures he has ever seen. But Herbert was a nice guy and asked him to please keep an eye out for his mother and that her name was Corra. Herbert said he would help keep and eye out for little Bruno’s mother. As they went to look for some food and Herbert told them he knew where some food was. They walked together Shane the zebra and Herbert the Bigfoot and little Bruno to a large tree that was full of ready to fall ripe apple that Herbert picked for us and his self. Getting full we told Herbert thanks for everything and we started back to looking for my mother baby.
