As Fredrick said come on and they scurrying over to the pile of bugs that was once under the stump they where trying to escape Fredrick and little Bruno’s mouth as they worked hard to get as many insects as possible. Being full the two started back toward the trail and talking about what each one’s life. Fredrick was alone scurrying little creature still looking for his mate as Little Bruno asked how he would know when he met his mate and Fredrick told him you just know when it happens. So Fredrick asked how Winston lost his mom and he once again told the story of getting wash away down stream of the river and fell over a waterfall and hit his head and lost his since of direction. And then Fredrick told poor little Bruno that was a bad ordeal and he would help him try to find his mother before the change of the weather. Little Bruno thanked Fredrick for helping him find his way back to the river rather he found her or not. So it was crazy that of all the animals than little Bruno had can’t across was such a different type of animal. But Fredrick knew little Bruno was different from other animals of his kind. Hey Little Bruno asked if Fredrick liked strawberries and he said yes so as they headed along their way they stopped to check at he strawberry patch which was full and they once again ate til the two couldn’t eat anymore. Seeing a tree they decided to take a nap with was wonderful sounding to little Bruno he had not slept good since losing his mom. Climbing to a branch were the large animals would not bother them while they were sleeping. The two animals cuddled into each other as they slept for quiet awhile. Starting to wake up the two looked at each other and moved down the tree and started on their way to toward the river once more. Little Bruno was just glad to have a friend along his journey. Little Bruno told Fredrick that was a nice nap and that was the best nap he has had since he lost his mother. Fredrick agreed it’s nice to nap without worrying about some predator attacking such a small animal which little would be very fortunate that he would be a large animal as he grew up. And little Bruno agreed but said he would always help to protect Fredrick. As they came to the mountain side going down to the valley both of them watch around to move sure there was no dangerous animals around. Walking toward the river it was starting to get even and the evening animals where more aggressive as I remember than large bear that Mother called Bruno he was a large afraid bears expect when he was talking to mother. Looking at Fredrick I told him that we may need to wait and check out the river in the morning my mother said the animals in the evening are or predators around the large part of the river. Looking down at the evening group at the watering hole Fredrick agreed with Little Bruno’s the area didn’t look safe and little Bruno didn’t see his mother anywhere around the river. So the two of them went looking for a place to sleep. Over under the brier patch Fredrick remembered a den that was abandoned months ago. So Fredrick climbed in first and then Little Bruno made his way in and it was a pretty large den for the bother of them to be comfortable as they curled up to sleep. The next morning they both got up to stretch and they made there way out of the den and back toward the river. Looking around neither They didn’t see Little Bruno’s Mother. So they decided to find some food and headed for some old stumps below the water. Little Bruno help Fredrick push a stump over so they could eat some breakfast. After filling up little Bruno and Fredrick came back to the river to check for any signs of Corra. Looking around without any sign little Bruno thanked Fredrick and told him he was going to look down river where he fell at the water fall I thought his mother would be looking for him. And Fredrick said he needed to get back home before a varmint trespassed on his territory. The two said their byes for now and bid each other a safe farewell. Once again little Bruno was by his self traveling the river that has taken him away from his mother and how he miss her. Seeing and wise owl getting ready to rest after being up all night. Little Bruno asked the owl of he had seen his mother and the owl said no he was more of a night animal but he would keep and eye out to help the small cub as Little Bruno asked the wise old owls named? He told Little Bruno his name was silver because of his beautiful feathers. The little cub thanked Silver and bid him good night as he started searching the river banks for any sign of his mother again. One thing about little Bruno he was determined to find his mother no matter what. Walking the river little Bruno remembered several of the areas as river whipped him around carrying him through branches and under water and back up into different area’s of the swift moving currents hitting gust of different flowing strengths of water. Still moving and looking til it was getting late little Bruno knew he needed to find a place to sleep. And he thought back to finding such a great friend in Fredrick and their adventures. Little Bruno found a rock with a ledge under it that was just big enough for him to fit into. So the small cub made his way in between the rocks and laid there thinking and til sleep hit his body. Waking up as the sun came up in the sky. Little Bruno stretched and slowly got upon all fours and shook his fur out as he had seen his mother do so many times. Slowly crawling out in between the rocks looking for some food the small cub searched the area little Bruno started to smell something different. Heading toward the scent as slow and cautious as he could it was a patch of blueberries. And the fresh dew had fallen on the berries and little bear ate and ate til he could barely move. Once again little Bruno was back to searching the river Hoping his mother was searching the River for him. Then coming to the water fall and little Bruno got to thinking if his mother came to the fall she thinks little Bruno didn’t make it and she has probably stopped looking for him. So poor little Bruno just fell to the ground and started crying just wanting to be in his mother’s big hugs.
