Back to tracking my Mother that is within just days of us I hope as little Bruno thought about his day and all the amazing friends he has made along his journey. Shane said he had never seen an animal that looks like Herbert anywhere. He was very nice helping us by letting us stay in his cave and getting us food. I agreed Herbert was different and amazing new friend. As they came around the den of a wide open field and we saw another animal that looked like Shane just a smaller frame. We looked at each other and walked over to the animal that looked like Shane as we surprised the other Zebra not realizing we were there. When she made eye contact with Shane the two of them started jumping around in excitement. She said her name was Tiara and she got lost after the ship she was on hit something and her cage shook loose so she jumped to the ocean and ended up here. And the two of them were together with no other zebras as far as they knew. And Little Bruno told Shane to stay and get to know Tiara. I will keep looking for my mother. Shane said thanks and the two ran around excited to get to know each other.
Once again little Bruno Bruno was by himself looking for his mother. But he was happy that Shane had found someone of his own kind to get to know. As the pathway was looking familiar little Bruno realized he was close to his den for the first time in months little Bruno was home but his mother was out looking for him. Going into the den the little bear could smell a small scent of his mother it wasn’t strong but it was his mother’s smell. As little Bruno just plopped down to feel the memories of the past with his mother and how he missed her. As little Bruno couldn’t decide what to do stay in the area or going looking for his mother.Taking in as much as he could the bear just laid there where his mother once cuddled him. With tears in his eyes little Bruno fell asleep after awhile.
Waking up little Bruno wondered to the river to see who was there this time of the evening. Lot of the evening crowd was there as little Bruno knew to be cautious with so many large bears there and mostly the males. Little Bruno circled around to the edge of the river. Seeing the salmon was almost gone as the weather was starting to change. That means it was time for the bears to start to head to their winter dens. Which meant mother Corra would be heading out soon too. As little Bruno tried to be sneaky, one of the large bears caught Sight of the small cub. Hey son the large bear said with a tiny scared voice little Bruno said yes what do you want from such a tiny cub. The large bear laughed and said you are Corra’s boy. And little Bruno said yes have you seen her and the large bear said a few days ago she is still looking for you. For a bit then she said she was heading to the Winter den. Just then little Bruno realize this large bear he was looking at was Bruno the bear his mother had been talking too. Little Bruno asked if the large bear could take him to his winter den then. And the large Bruno said he would have to keep up on his own. And little Bruno agreed he would keep up. Big Bruno asked little Bruno if he had eaten anything yet. As little Bruno bear said no and big Bruno throw little Bruno a fish. And it’s the first fish Little Bruno has had since he lost his mother. And he enjoyed every bite of the fish as he told the large bear thanks. Once Little Bruno was done eating the large bear told the small cub to get next to him in the water as little bear done as he was told. Big Bruno told Little Bruno to focus on the water and everything swimming and as a fish started past big Bruno told little Bruno to pounce on the fish now and to his surprise he little Bruno had caught his first walk. Wow thanks little cub told the large bear. As he dragged his prize to the bank of the river little bear felt larger than any creature Alive at that moment in time. The cub didn’t realize how hungry he truly was as the ate every bite he looking to find ever bite. The fish tasted better when he caught it his self. Little Bruno finally caught his first fish he only wished his mother here to watch him.
Big Bear told little Bruno and come with him it was time to start their journey to find Corra. Odd little bear thought no one ever called his mother by name but he had not met many bears before. For big Bruno to be so big and meeting him he scared the little bear before but now he was being nice to little Bruno. Big Bruno looked back at the other bears on the river and let out a large grizzly size roar as the other bears roared back like a sign of respect or greeting each fairway til next time. Traveling along behind big Bruno almost felt like being with his mom Corra but then it was very different all at the same time. Big Bruno told Little Bruno it was getting late so they would stay at his den tonight. Little Bruno wondering how Big Bruno knew where his den was an asked him how he knew this was Corra and Bruno’s den? Big Bruno let out a grizzly laugh and said I know everything son. And little Bruno wanted to know how big Bruno knew everything? Big Bruno looking at little Bruno and said from many years of living and not tempting fate like playing with skunks or getting washed down a river. As little Bruno looking up at the big bear climbing into his den that he normally shared with his mother. Then little Bruno climbed in and found a comfortable spot next to the big bear that smelled nothing like his mother does. As both bears had their tummies full and slowly drifted off to sleep again along day. But little Bruno did enjoyed cuddling and feeling the warmth of his fur. Big Bruno smiled as he looked down at little Bruno seeing so much of himself in the little guy. Just know he taught him for the first time to catch a fish made big Bruno smile as he slept next to the smaller image sleeping next to him.
Rising early to start the journey across some rugged terrain. Getting up and shaking the nights dusk off was another great memory little Bruno had of his mother. As big Bruno told him they would get food on the way as they needed to start moving they had along trip ahead of them. Traveling with big Bruno wasn’t to bad he would stop and check on little Bruno from time to time. Coming to a large patch of blackberries moving around in the patch trying to get to some of the larger ones little Bruno was stuck in the berries once again yelping for help he saw big Bruno shaking his head as he was laughing at poor little Bruno. Grabbing little baby bear he snatched little Bruno from the grasp of the berries. And showed little Bruno how to use his paw to grab the berries without getting stuck in the brier bush.
