Little Bruno was getting hungry and went scouting for food. Little Bruno came across an small brook were a stream flowed through. He walked into the water looking for some fish moving around in the water,he stood there waiting for a fish to swim by and all the sudden one did and Little Bruno jumped at the fish but he didn’t catch the fish he just popped down in the water face first. Coming up already drenching with water he decided to try again. Waiting for another fish to swim by and soon a fish came by and Little Bruno pounced again a the fish came up and plopped him in the face. As little Bruno water dripping wet out of the brook he decided to go another route of finding food. Scouting some more as he tried to get dried rolling in the grass along the shade of a large oak tree there was a large mother rabbit with three bunnies hopping around the brook of the tree. Little Bruno stopped and watched them playing missing his own mother. One bunny was light brown with white face the other was mostly little brown and the third was spotted up on the face. The little most solid bunny hopped over the spotted bunnies head and jumped for the bunny who was the white face taking both siblings out one after another. Little bear and mother bunny made eye contact as she asked if little Bruno was lost it’s odd to have such a small cub out by himself in these large woods. Yes Little Bruno said I lost my mother yesterday and I am very hungry. Mother rabbit said she has not seen another bear lately. But there were some berries down the hill they came upon them today while out exploring. Feeling hungry and sad little Bruno thanks the rabbit for her help and he made his way to the bottom of the hill over in a valley. Little Bruno could smell the fresh berries and headed into the brier patch moving around into the briers trying to not get stuck this time. Little bear cub Bruno had learned his lesson not getting stuck in the thorns this time. Taking his time to eat one berry at a time and being careful.
As little Bruno got full off of berries he made his way to find shelter for the night. A safe place with out any small creatures that can make him stinky. Looking around and being in the valley there was a small cave with a small opening that little Bruno stuck his head into as he was thrusted in the face by a pissed off badger. Little Bruno rounded backwards as he badger was being very aggressive and very vocal. Poor little Bruno yelled stop I didn’t know that was your home stop as the badger huffed and puffed and scratched at the ground. The badger warned the little cub to be careful were he sticks his nose. Next time he would take his whole head off. Poor little Bruno had a tear running down his face turning to walk away as the badger claws at the ground. Going to find another place to sleep tonight little Bruno walked around trying not to run into another anger animal. There was and embankment with a old den with no one around little Bruno sniffed this time for any smells of fresh animal senses in the area. There was nothing he could smell so he went in the cold den. Thinking about all the times he got to sleep on his mother’s warm fur. Little bitty Baby cub Bruno really missed his mother and wanted to be back comforted by her warmth and loving nature.
As the little cub rolled up into a small ball to cuddle up so he could find himself some much needed sleep. He was so scared of being in this big wide world all by himself. And everything he was going through to find his mother. Little Bruno’s eyes closed as he dosed off and finally found sleep. As light hit his eyes from the sun shining into the den little bear rolled over onto his belly not wanting to start another crazy day of searching for his mother. Slowly crawling from the den little bear thought he smelt a familiar smell but couldn’t tell were it was coming from. He ran over to see if he could tell where the smell was coming from but nothing. He moved in the other direction but still nothing. So little Bruno moves over to the brook were he found the rabbits. Little bear enjoyed a drink of water and decided to going find some food and move trying to find the river but with him not being very big or very good at direction was wondering now to do this task. Remembering what happened the day he lost his mother little Bruno bear was trying to figure out how to get back to an area he knew. It was a day that he lost everything, getting to brave and trying to prove he could catch a fish the little bear lost his footing and got into the river current moving faster than he could move the water rushed over the top of him moving little Bruno rapidly down the river he push to get to the surface of the water to get a breath of air and then get taken down again and then he was rushed over a waterfall that took him way out beyond anywhere he had traveled with his mother. As he slowly tried to move to the bank little Bruno was exhausted and confused from getting banged around. Poor baby bear just laid through til the could find strength. With a few more tears little Bruno went looking for some food. Checking the berry patch he found a few berries left but not enough to fill his tummy. Scouting once more there was a break in the woods an area that little Bruno recognized finding the patch of tomatoes he had rolled in trying to get to stench of the skunk off of him. Little Bruno could not believe it he started eating as much as he could fit into his mouth his mouth at a time. Little Bruno needed to try to figure out the direction his mother came from when she brought him this way. Little Bruno bear tracked back to a brook and finding a passage way he walked and walked watch out for any creature that might hurt a small animal like him. That crazy badger almost cut poor little Bruno to shreds just because he was looking for a safe place to sleep. Ok back to trying to find his mother before the weather started to change and she moved to their winter den. He had to find her as soon as possible because he knew she was worried about him as he was worried and missed her too.
