Little Bruno Bear

Chapter 16 Taking a day off.

After little Bruno and Big Bruno was safe they found a cave that big Bruno put little Bruno in and went and got him something to eat. Little Bruno just set in the cave scared and trembling after such a fall. But shortly big Bruno came back with some flounder and little Bruno enjoyed every bite of his meal and big Bruno left and came back with some more fish as he sit down and enjoyed his meal as little Bruno moved over next to big Bruno and took a nap. As big Bruno looked down to see such a little little bear cuddling him and his heart grew so large at the tiny bear he helped create. They bother got there bellies full and took a long much needed rest.

As the morning light came into the cave with the morning light and hearing the birds sing. Little Bruno was feeling a little bit better but still a little tired after such a rough fall. The two started to move out slowly and move around. And big Bruno said they were taking a break for the day that there was a great stream close full of fish and little Bruno could take the time to rest today and play close to the cave. And little Bruno didn’t have any problem with the thought of not traveling for a day.Little Bruno stepped back inside of the cave and turned over and laid on his back sleeping with his tummy straight up in the air. As big Bruno came back to the cave to find Little Bruno asleep he dropped the two fish laughing so hard at the tiny cub. As little Bruno heard the large bear dropped the fish he rounded over and jumped to his paws as the thanked big Bruno for finding him some food. And took another nap after yesterday’s adventures and they cuddled together but then little Bruno woke up hearing something at the back of the cave. So making his way toward the sound little Bruno started to see thing move in the corner of the cave. Little Bruno said hello and a tiny voice said hello back. Tiny Bruno asked what kind of animal that was in the corner. And the shadow moved and out came a small creature little Bruno had never seen before. He was a small mink that got lost from his mother and little Bruno told him he was lost from his mother too. And asked if he needed help finding his mother. An the little mink whose name was Chad came out and crawled on little Bruno’s back. As little Bruno came out of the back of the cave big Bruno said he thought something had happened to him. And then seeing the mink asked little Bruno what his new friends name was?

Little Bruno said his name was Chad and he lost his mother too so I was hoping we could help him find his mother too? And big Bruno said yes of course I would except you to not help anyone. So the mink stayed wrapped around little Bruno’s neck. As big Bruno laughed at the new little pair of buddies. They asked Chad where did he think his mother was headed to and he thought that she had taken his brother and sister down to the stream to bathe. So they walked over to the stream and checked around to find chad’s family. They checked up one area of the stream and then back to the other side of the stream and then they wondered if the minks would go back to where they lost Chad at. So each group of the groups trying to find each other was walking right across each other. So little Bruno and big Bruno decided to wait at the cave entrance to wait Chad’s family to come back around. As they stayed under the tree at the entrance of the cave and as Chad and little Bruno played sure enough soon Chads family came along and the group was back together again and to thank the bear’s for keeping her little one safe. They traveled to the other side of the stream to and shaded area and there was figs everywhere. And the group of minks and the two bears there was a moment of time and understanding and the group enjoyed their time. As the group ate all the figs they could get their hands on. Once the time was about into the evening it was time to get back to the cave. As they walked their way into the path through the stream moving across the open trail back to the cave And once again the two went into the cave and walked into the open area and cuddled down to go to sleep.

The two enjoyed their time not having to travel and just enjoying the day and time helping a family of minks finding each other. Was a great day and enjoying their time eating figs was a great way to spend the day together. It seemed that little Bruno and bi Bruno got a little closer. Especially after he saved little Bruno from the mountain and especially after big Bruno told the story of his family getting stuck on the mountain side. Once all of the stories and the time together there was something about him that seemed a lot like the little bear and the big bear rare so much alike at heart.

The next day seemed to be easier to get up and enjoying the day together it seemed like there was an easier day to get up and move forward. With every adventure they got closer to the end of a time that they would find Corra. And the time with just the two would end which would be a bitter sweet time together and the end of being together. Getting up with a stretch and shaking the dusk off of the fur. And strutting out of the cave right behind big Bruno little Bruno did.
